If possible, Ethaniel will try to track down Tippy, and get involved in the questioning. Can I assume that I find him easily? Tippy seems to have been into some covert stuff as of late, and I don't want to assume.

He's not covert at the moment, just questioning staff (with Iscarel, I thought).

I gotta ask. Has anyone got prior knowledge of this AP. I don't take lightly to PC's snooping ahead. I had someone in a RL do that and it pissed me off no end. I just walked away from the game. Just so you know. If i get the stink of any such thing, it will likely kill my desire to continue.

I've only read bits of the players guide.

I only future peeking I glean is I'm pretty sure the drow are gonna feature heavily. That's just from looking at the covers onthe paizo site.

(I may be off here, but I'll assume you might think me cause your post came only 7 minutes after Marcus talks about clegg in the gameplay thread. Hope I'm wrong ;)

Marcus made his judgement based on what he's seen.
Clegg has the appearence of a violent bully (Ascaria assumed just that in her questioning)
But he's also the head of a big crimimal organisation. You don't get in that position without some sense.
He did show Hubris when he instantly snapped at Ascaria and left, rather than maintaining hisprevious cool facade. Marcus saw all this from the second level.

Plus after nearly getting us all TPK'd at the boneyard, Marcus (and I) are trying to read into things more, rather than taking face value. Marcus is not smart but he is wise. ;)

I do really enjoy giving my time to this.

I played in a Second Darkness game on the boards that died long before we got this far, though we did have one encounter that we haven't had here, but I think it's either something you skipped, or that GM added. Other than that, I know nothing except that we deal with drow, mostly because of paizo messageboard chatter.

I have the AP in PDF form, and about two years back I thumbed through it with half a mind to run it (I turned my nose up at it in favor of rise of the runelords). Now I just use it for the backmatter, but I've only touched the article on Calistria since this game has picked up. (As much as I want(ed) to gloss up on the elf settlements and the like and work it into my backstory, I figured it was best to keep it on a need to know basis).

That said, I wouldn't be playing an elf if it weren't for that metagame knowledge, but I think I was pretty up front about that when I was recruited. My GM's more or less homebrewed Dwarves and Elves out, so I've jumped on the chance to play one that'd have a stake in the story. That said, any knowledge Iscarel has will remain a footnote for as long as it's appropriate, and hopefully at that stage I'll be able to justify it with my bardic knowledge checks. :P

Also with combat well behind us, might I propose those changes to Iscarel's build? I'd like to adjust his point buy, spells and replace Arcane Strike with Point Blank Shot (not my first choice, but it lets me shoot for a certain elfy prestige class down the road...) I was toying with the Arcane Duelist archetype but ultimately decided against it. It felt excessive.

I read the Player's Guide, but beyond that, I know little about the AP. I've always wanted to play it because I've thought it would be a good fit for a cleric of Caistria, both because it starts in Riddleport and because I've heard it features Golarion's elves (both Drow and non-Drow).

I have no clue of the AP (although I have the PDFs somewhere here...). If it looked as if I had glanced ahead, it was pure coincidence.

I know this AP features the Drow extensively... but beyond that... not a clue.

I think of all the crimelords in the players guide handout, we're most likely to get aid at the temple. Failing that, we could look elsewhere, but I wouldn't want to provoke him, or split the party and give him a chance to strike.

Plus I haven't got to take Iscarel to his favourite neck of the woods in a very long time. :P

I can't take all the credit for some of those aphorisms though. Most of them were ripped from PF products and scribbled down when I set about making Iscarel. I made my own embellishments of course, but it's still my second most reference resource other than my elven cheatsheet. I'd originally hoped to learn a bit of real elvish along the way, but holy balls it is complicated.

And here I sat thinking you were making all that great sounding elven words up! I hope you didn't try to translate my gibberish back :-)

Yeah, I'm in like ten PBP's.

I can ask a few of my DM's (Megan is quite good. But she just took over my Legacy of Fire game and runs my crimson throne. I joined crimson throne simply by popping in and asking.)

My LoF game now has 7 (megs just took it and added another player)
Crimson throne has 5 (one of the players is our 'new' rogue. Sunphoenix do you think Megs/the group would accept one more? I'm generally ok as long as the poster is frequent and descriptive.
I'd reccomend Waife for that one (she uses maps but not grids btw so action is more descriptive)

My Kaer maga, Last Rites games has JUST started so probably no good there.
My kingmaker, carrion crown, games frequently stalls so not sure if they'd be a good enough pace.

Twigs, I can ask DM carbide if he'll take you for our Cracked Mirror game. It's his golarion homebrew where we.go to splinter golarion dimension to fix splits in the timestream to save our world. Good game. About the same post rate as here, but maps are exel spreadsheets (done pretty well though)

We just started a fight with a Seugathi this morning and despite having Iron.Will/Improved Iron Will I blew both my saves vs confusion. This creature can control confused chars, so I'm probably gonna kill my party.

We could have.REALLY used an Inspire Courage Cleric Archetype for this one...

Also, might have two spots in my kingmaker game. Still 1st level. Been slow but you two should speed it up. Awaiting on DM's answer.

I'm not too eager to play this out (I'd rather have the story moving along). But if Ethaniel is commited to do this, Ascaria will accompany him.

I don't want to bring things to a halt by doing this, but I think Ethaniel feels some responsibility over disposing of the body since he was so insistent. I am hoping it doesn't turn into a lengthy excursion. And so it Ethaniel, for that matter!

I don't think the rest of you should feel obliged to come along if your character wouldn't want to.

Iscarel won't have anything to do with it, at any rate. I can't decide what an elfs attitude to corpses should be, even one who's been in riddleport for a decade or two shouldn't like the reminder of his own mortality.

I'd planned to wait for Ethaniel but perhaps we could make our way to the temple now to give us something to do? I've been meaning to take the initiative on that, but this week has been full of nothing but distractions. :P

Tippy, in addition to his other duties, will attempt to find out more about Clegg, his operations, and his holdings. He'll suggest to the group that some of them could pay a visit to one of his gambling halls, not to cause trouble, but just to be there and be seen.
