He creeps up the Stairs marked with a red arrow with Red Destiny drawn.

Momijii while the others discuss what to do next. Eventually she wakes up of her own accord, convinced she had another dream but the details were elusive.

@Momijii I'll need to prepare for it but there will be another dream sequence in a bit.

Filbert follows Agrippa up the stairwell, not reaching for any power as that would be loud enough to 'wake the dead' figeratively if not quite literally.

At the top of the stairs you can just about make out the cultists paying at cards and dice, beyond an indistinct squat figure in the distance sits on the edge of a bed. They don't appear to have noticed you. Actions?

Agrippa drinks his Shield extract and then steps out into the open. In one hand he holds his last Vial of Acid, and in the other he holds Red Destiny. It gleams dully in the wan light.

Ho there! Apostles? The Master gave us word that you are to return to the Sanctum. We will watch this place now.

From the back comes coarse female laughter, "HA HA! Nice try, you remember what Zandalus's standing orders are. Bag em boys!" The cultists around the table reply sharply, "Yes Miss Loomis!" Dice and cards fly everywhere as they pick up weapons!

OK environmental issue: the fog here provide 20% miss chance unless you are within 5 feet.

Bit of dust and debris begin cycling widly around Filbert as he draws in power, the yellow fog distracting nearly as much as it hides those he's trying to hit. Taking a step forward Filbert looses the blast in-between Momijii and Lizzie aiming for the cultist with yellow trappings.

Filbert the fog isn't as strong here as it was in the previous fight. There's no miss chance in melee, just a 20% miss chance for ranged attacks.

Filbert sends a tremendous blast which hits a cultists square between the eyes. He sinks the the floor, dead.

The remaining cultists surge forward wielding wicked looking crowbars. Agrippa easily dodges one but Momijii gets painfully rapped across her shoulders!

I bumped it up as Filbert was shooting from down the stairwell, just couldn't see as much from there, besides how many 1's have you seen me roll in the past 3 years, it's almost a sure thing ;)

round 2 - travelling today

Filbert nods with a mixture of satisfaction and relief as the cultist he could see drops. Watching the others now engaged in melee he begins to draw in power once more taking aim at the closest standing cultist.

Yet his shot goes wide as he tries to guess what the combatants would do and he zigged when he should have zagged.

Agrippa's new strategy in battle is going to be to make himself a target, drink a shield extract and let Filbert wreck things from a distance. PS Filbert how is your damage so high?

Base kinetic blast damage is 1d6 +1 + con mod(2), every 2 lvls beyond 1 add another 1d6 + 1, and elemental overflow adds +1 attack/+2 damage because Filbert has taken burn, and then PBS on the end.

If I'm understanding it right at level 3 kineticest energy blast does 2d6+2 + con mod damage. Point blank shot gives an extra point of damage. I'm not sure where the remaining two damage comes from,
maybe elemental overflow?

Oh. I get it. It's not a touch attack, its a ranged attack and so the damage is higher.

Kineticests depending on their element have physical blasts that do more damage but hit normal AC or elemental ones that are more accurate (touch AC) but do less damage.

That crowbar to the shoulders [i[hurt[/i], and that wasn't good for the cultist who did it. Her stance shifted slightly and with a flurry of movement Momijii sent to quick blows at the cultist who hit her. Both strikes hit, the punch straight to the gut and a knee came up into the bastard's crotch.

Ah yes, sorry was in an absolute rush this morning with the wife breathing down my neck making me do this that and the other. I forgot to clear the actions posted from the previous combat.

Momijii's blows strike true and the cultist reels backwards, sorely wounded.

Lizzie's Morningstar catches a glancing blow on a cultist, leaving several deep scratches.

From behind Loomis shrieks to somebody you can't see, "Fetch the Oneirogens. Drive out the nonbelievers! For Zandalus and the King in Yellow!"

Loomis picks her way forwards past the rubble and fallen chairs and tables. She's thickset, with a heavy step and a mad gleam in her eye. She suddenly flings a vial of something towards Lizzie which explodes with a soft woomph! Momijii and Agrippa get showered with scalding hot liquid too! "AAhhhah burn unbelievers!" she cackles!

Agrippa throws a vial of acid but the strange mists warp his perspective and the vial lands just short of it's intended target sending a spray of burning acid in all directions! Heinrich, blue, green and Lumis all take 1 damage.

Luxina lightly sprints up the ramp and throws a bomb which causes a cultist to explode into a fountain of gore!

Filbert sent a tremendously powerful blast of energy towards one of the cultists but the cultist was ducking and diving and a tendril of fog threw wafted in front of Filbert, throwing off his aim.

The cultist Lizzie hit vengefully swings his crowbar with devestating force into her arm. He shouts, "Die in Zandalus' name unbeliever!"

With a hole in the enemy formation Momijii quickly capitalized on it, slipping into the gap and attacked the same cultist she had hit before. She sent one blow directly at his face, hr arm swinging in like a large claw at his head and hesitated a moment to make sure the attack dropped him. Unfortunately her slight hesitation cost her as her second blow was far too slow to hit anyone.

The one Momijii hit before now got turned into a shower of gore by Luxina. I'll assume you are going for Red now.
Momijii lightly steps forward, delivering a bone shattering punch which makes the cultist menacing Agrippa scream in pain!

Lizzie meanwhile scores another glancing blow which sends some of the cultist's teeth flying!

Agrra stomps in, arms out and tries to grab Momijii with her meaty hands! The lithe monk dances back safely out of reach.

Heinrich lunges but the cultist dances back out of harm's way. Luxina throws a bomb squarely at Aggra's chest. It detonates with a dull thwump, sending shrapnel into the remaining cultists!

Filbert sends a great gout of energy aimed right at one of the cultists but he ducks aside at the last moment and it narrowly misses!

The two increacingly ragged looking cultists attack in a frenzy, one cracks Momijii's ribs with a powerful swipe and Lizzie gets smacked powerfully across the temple causing her to see stars!

Momijii grunted in pain as she felt the crowbar connect again. It was excruciating and she was determined to make the giver receive the blow twice over. With two quick strikes she struck at the cultists but her injuries made the first blow a bit slow and the second one miss entirely.

Attacking the one who just hit me with a crowbar.

Momijii tried to retaliate against the cultist but he manages to fend her off with his crowbar. Meanwhile Lizzie calls on the power of the gods to cure some of her wounds and smacks the cultist with her mourningstar, caving in his skull.

Aggra decides to try a smaller target, she slips past Momijii and snakes her hand out and grabs Lizzie by the neck and starts squeezing! Aggra cackles with glee, her eyes wild with spittle flying from her lips.

Luxina takes her club from her belt and draws her shield to engage Aggra directly. Moving up the stairs so she is right next to Aggra.

"You will unhand her now, unless you want your brain truly scrambled."

Aggripa dances behind the cultist and lunges, red destiny slid between the man's ribs up to the hilt. Aggripa felt the man's heart beat twice through the blade before shuddering to a stop.

Luxina steps in to remonstrate but Aggra just leers at her obscenely. Her grin didn't last long for Filbert launched a great gout of energy at Aggra, taking her squarely in the chest! She screams in agony.

Another cultist bursts through the rubble filled entrance from the other room, followed by two Oneirogens poring out great gouts of dreamstuff! The nacreous vapor washes over Aggripa threatening to overcome him but with a supreme effort of will he shakes off the soporific effect!

Momijii was pleased to see the last of the immediate crowbar wielders drop and turned her gaze on Aggra. She didn't give the woman any ultimatums but simply shifted quickly around to put the witch between her and Luxina. Her fist lashed out fiercely at the distracted enemy's side and was followed up by a snapped kick from the hip at the woman's lower back.

Lizzie tries to wrestle herself loose.

With surprising agility, Aggra dodges Momijii's blows, thrashing Lizzie about as she does so. Lizze tries to squirm her way free but Aggra's grip is like iron! She cackles as she starts to squeeze and you hear something in Lizze's throat go pop as her face turns beetroot red!
Grapple lethal damage: 1d6 + 3 + 2d6 ⇒ (2) + 3 + (2, 4) = 11 1d6+3 is her unarmed damage. She has the strangler feat too which gives her the 2d6 extra!

Moaning strangely, the Oneirogens shamble forwards! The soporific fog washes over the battle field, causing Lizzie to pass out temporarily but the pain of Aggra's grip brings her back. The cultist who lead them in, seems horrified by how fast the Oneirogens moved, takes a lungful, splutters and falls face down on the floor!
