Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa
Agrippa steps between Momiji and the Oneirogen 5' step and he attempts to stab Agga in the back again
Red Destiny: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 Nope
DM Fang Dragon
Heinrich circles behind Aggra and tries to stab her but as he lunges his foot slips on some debris, his thrust going wide. Luxina tries to smash Aggra with her club but Agrra is moving about so much as she struggles with Lizzie there's no chance of connecting.
Filbert sends another brutally powerful gout of energy at Aggra, this time it takes her high in the chest and she screams when it impacts. She thrashes around before slumping to the floor, with her eyes turned up into her skull.
Do you know I have this feeling that Jarreck would be kinda jealous of Filbert if they ever met? Incidentally I don't think Filbert's damage is OP, 2h melee characters easily do more.

With one of the gas spewers next to her Momijii unleashed a flurry of strikes. While she preferred to not hurt someone who was innocent in all of this, and she couldn't know these sleepers weren't, she also knew they couldn't let them keep spewing smoke if everyone else was to live. She struck out with both fists using the dragon's claw technique and hoped she could make this quick and fairly painless.

Momijii lashes out with both fists! Some remaining animal cunning helped the hapless Oneirogen avoid the first punch, the second one caught him clear on the nose breaking it.

She then heads for orange, joining Momiji.

I wonder, since lay on hands says +1d6 for every 2 levels she possesses. This means i'd have to hit lvl 4 to get 2d6, correct?
I think i've seen played otherwise.
Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa
Interesting that you bring that up because the confusion comes in when you look at this ability "Channel Positive Energy (Su): When a paladin reaches 4th level, she gains the supernatural ability to channel positive energy like a cleric. Using this ability consumes two uses of her lay on hands ability. A paladin uses her level as her effective cleric level when channeling positive energy. This is a Charisma-based ability." So, a Cleric gets d6 bumps at odd levels (3,5,7,9 etc) and so technically speaking a Paladin could LOH for 2d6 at 5th level, and Channel for 3d6 at 5th level.
DM Fang Dragon
Lizzie tries to put all her force behind the made but she slips on some gore and it's all she can do not to fall flat on her face!
The Oneirogen closest to Heinrich starts to circle round him and suddenly lashes out fists pummeling him, smashing through this defences!

Agrippa warily engages the Oneirogen and finds it strangely slow to react to his testing thrusts. On a hunch, he suddenly thrusts out strongly, and Red Destiny sinks up to the hilt in the poor soul's side! Luxina takes full advantage of this to smash the Oneirogen in the back solidly with her club. It lands with a sickening crunch and she's sure something broke inside.
Filbert sends a massive gout of energy towards an Oneirogen but he found the energy unwieldy and it lances out harmlessly into the wall.
Momijii and the cultist are both sprawled on the floor, snoring loudly and twitching. Their eyes moving rapidly as they dream, apparently trapped in some kind of nightmare.

Kind of surprised you didn't go for the Oneirogen tbh.
Lizzie brings her Morningstar down with savage force on the sleeping cultist. It bounces off his rib cage with a sickening thud. Judging from the sound, several ribs where broken by the impact! The man awakes and screams!
The Oneirogen fighting Agrippa fights desperately but none of it's blows come close!

The other Oneirogen feints hight which Lizzie blocks easily but taking advantage of it's superior reach it sneaks past her guard and smacks her silly!

Luxina distracts the Oneirogen by waving her arms and menacing it while Heinrich nips in behind and plunges Red Destiny deep into the Oneirogen's back. It looks sorely wounded, with blood running freely, pooling at it's feet!
Gathering his will, filbert focuses a gout of pure energy which impacts the other Oneirogen like a battering ram sending it's broken and mangled corpse flying into the far wall!
The noise of the battle is terrible but the cultist dreams on obliviously.

Heinrich and Luxina try to finish the wounded Oneirogen off, but there's so much blood and gore on the floor they slip and slide all over!
Filbert however is on stable ground and he takes careful aim. His blast takes the poor Oneirogen high in the temple and it crumples onto the floor.
COMBAT OVER
It takes a couple of minutes to notice but the omnipresent yellow mist seems much diminished. Looking out of one ruined window you can now see several hundred feet from the edge of the asylum before the mist gets too thick.
Actions? You have a prisoner and I suggest you tend to your wounds. There are a number of healing potions left and that wand.

Well, this did wonders for the view. he quips, looking out the window.

DM Fang Dragon
The man turns white and stammers, "Uhhh. Um. Well. Yeah you see he's over there down the corridor. He won't be pleased to see you."
For beating the cultists you all have inspiration. You may well need it.
Filbert Springbit
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
Filbert searches through Aggra's pockets and the bunk area, shaking his head at the mementos she had chosen to keep. His lips twisting into a small grimace as he withdrew a well made ring from one of the fingers.
"Perhaps the Cleric Winter or the Dr can tell us who this came from"
His grimace though changes to a broad smile as the pouch of gold is revealed between the slat of one of the bunks. "Someone here was doing quite well at the poker games each night it appears."
He falls silent though as Agrippa begins to question his new friend..
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Squatting down beside the man but out of arms reach, he cocks his head, a sigh escaping as he considers the man's words. Bits of rock dust circle around the gnome as he studies and then speaks to the prisoner
"You my friend are not telling us everything we need to hear."
The sound of a crowbar dragging across the floor can be heard from behind the man as Filbert speaks quietly. I'm probably going to want those "20's" back here shortly.
"Now Agrippa here he is very eloquent but not terribly imaginative, the sword he has at your throat, if he thinks you are lying he will just skewer you with it."
The dragging sounds disappears as the crowbar becomes visible to the man floating about 5' off the floor of it's own accord.
"Myself, I'm a jeweler by trade, molding things of beauty by cutting, heating and pounding the dross from my work piece until the truth of it's heart shines forth. Now unless you wish for me to begin molding you with that crowbar, tsk tsk , such a crude tool, I would suggest you tell us the whole truth."
Intimidate: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Filbert is using the Telekinetic ability(Mage Hand) to manipulate the crowbar, while letting elemental overflow whip his hair around a bit
DM Fang Dragon
The man stares at Filbert with big round eyes. A dark stain spreads at his crotch. He stammers, "T. The. The. The master's art next door. It ain't right. B. B. Bur.
Burn it or it will hold you in thrall."
Filbert Springbit
Clapping the cultist on the knee a moment...
"Now there, see you told us something very useful, don't think we'll need this after all."
the crowbar drifts away to land on one of the bunks
Looking towards Agrippa, "Your concoctions have shielded you and stuck others to the floor, do any of them burn?" Filbert will open the question up to the others should he answer in the negative.
Looking around, they'll find a secure place to tied the prisoner up, before moving on. "Ladies are you feeling better?"
Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa
Awesome posts Filbert!
Agrippa nods approvingly at the little gnome.
Alas no. My stock of Alchemists Fire has been depleted. We should return the prisoner to Winter if we can get there she may have more. Remember, we walked through a whole bunch of his mates downstairs.
DM Fang Dragon
Sure you can head back to Winter. Let me know if that's what you want to do.
Momijii
With the fighting over Momijii rose to her feet after having been knocked unconcious...AGAIN! and looked around. By the time she had regained her senses though it seemed that everything had been found and Filbert of all people had made their captive pee his pants. The small gnome intimidated even her a little bit. For the moment she stood back behind Filbert and waited patiently for his signal to do anything besides stand there looking intimidating.
Lizzie "beads" Tamar
Don't feel bad Momiji, i had a tower shield fighter, who was the only one to go KO, despite his AC.
I upset the paladin too, hehe. :P
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 4
"Wonders you say? I'd like to see that."
Lizzie heads over to the window, using whatever she can use as a stool.
"Wow, the sight improved, awesome."
She steps down from it, as Filbert is busy 'questioning' the cultist.
"Hmm, feeling good? Well i may be in need of one of those healing potions, that evil woman liked strangling things smaller than her."
Lizzie rubs her neck...
DM Fang Dragon
The party currently has 3 potions of CMW and a wand of CLW. That had 11 charges left when you found it, 6 have been used.
Luxina Tenebris
Luxina nods silently as Filbert questions the man and administers healing to both Lizzie and Momiji.
CLW Momiji: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 41d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 51d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
CLW on Lizzie: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 81d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Then when the conversation goes toward burning things she speaks up again.
"I've still got some mixtures left for bombs. Not that many, but they do burn quite effectively. Also, as a sidenote, I think this wand has been spent now."
She returns the wand to its original owner and then overlooks the newly acquired ring.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
"Hmmm.. Interesting design... To say the least... Anybody got a clue as to what it does? It's magical by manufacture of course."
DM Fang Dragon
Luxina does some much needed first aid and Momijii and Lizzie feel rather better if not quite 100%.
OK what next? Are you staying here or going to visit Winter?
Filbert Springbit
"Not sure we'll be able to get to Winter with this one. I'm not interested in troubling the kitchen haunt again, I could taste breakfast for two hours afterwards and it really didn't taste that well the first time down. And the four guys watching over the cooks surely won't let us waltz thru with a prisoner. Besides, he said Zandalas's art is in the next room, better to destroy it and him if need be while we are here than to let this area fill back in with more of his fog spewing cronies. They seem to cause all kinds of trouble." A non-accusatory smile directed Momijii's direction
DM Fang Dragon
So that's one for and one against going back to see Winter. Lizzie / Momijii / Luxina what do you think the party should do next?
Lizzie "beads" Tamar
Travel back in time and eliminate the key instigator of this mess. :)
"I'm with Filbert on this. Rooting out the evil while we're here, instead of doing this all over again, is the better option to me."
Momijii
"I believe we are best served trying to end this threat now. We would have a lot of ground to cover to return to Winter and at least a couple of potential hindrances along the way." Momijii shook her head, "No, if we can take care of the wort of our wounds ourselves, enough to continue the fight, then we should push forward."
Filbert Springbit
Filbert nods as the group seems to come to a majority, "He mentioned the art was in the next room, wasn't there mention of Zandalus' art before in Dr Lazaro's office? Perhaps something is helping him with his art to create something dangerous, don't remember the art down there causing us any trouble. Strange though it was."
Moving quietly along the wall, even though the power he wields isn't quiet in the least - anyone nearby likely knew they were there. Looking for access to the next area, the Oni having come from farther into the room.
Stealth: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14

"I agree with you on that. Too many hassles to go over if we want to return now."
Luxina says as she nods in agreement. She points out the two potions of CMW in the packs.
"We've still got those two potions if you're feeling faint still."
Luxina nods at Filbert as he approaches silently towards the next room. Then follows suit.
Stealth: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

Agrippa follows, Red Destiny in hand.
Gonna assume that we tied up our prisoner, and that the poor soul that was following us is somehow occupied?
