Game is CLOSED for recruiting.
Now that I've received the Scenario, I've made separate PDF copies of each of the Pregens, and I wanted to open the floor to allow you to begin to pick the one you want. All of them are Elemental Themed, and there are some special twists involved with all of them I want to save for once you have already picked the one you want to go with, so, I want to hold off actually showing the Character Sheets themselves until everyone has picked.
There are 6 Pregens to choose from. I'll also include a few notes as what element(s) they most associate with and a general role for the character:
1.) The Chronicler: (fire and "air") support and jack-of-all-trades
2.) The Genie: (all), tank and support
3.) The Avalanche: (earth) divine jack-of-all-tradish
4.) The Torrent: (water) mage
5.) The Valcano: (fire and earth)
6.) The Storm: (air) divine support/mageish
Since we seem to have 5 players: (unsure if there is a sixth)
1.) DM Snider
2.) GM Termoil
3.) CariMac
4.) Lady Ladile
5.) Eric Swanson
For now, I'll let folks pick what they want to go with. (All of them look pretty awesome, and don't seem to be the typical Pregen with poor choices in their builds, so don't let it fool you).
If there ends up being a conflict and people just can't find a way to work it out, I'll do a roll off.

Dotting. The Storm.
Welcome aboard. It's not required to have a full table, but I'd like to offer all available seats to help the Game Day be successful. As soon as I get confirmation on which Pregen everyone is going with, I'll go ahead and post a link to them for everyone.
Also, if you have not already, please go to the Gameplay Thread to "dot".

Sounds good.
HERE are the Character Sheets. Please, using the honor system, only look at your character, and I'm not sure that PFS Leadership wants these guys and gals broadcasted to those not playing, so please keep them to yourselves.
:P
Once you download the sheet, you can simply press CTRL+Shift+"+" to rotate the pages. I attempted to save them the correct reading direction, but it didn't work.

What level character can this chronicle be applied to?
When I get a chance, I want to research this a bit more to get an exact answer rather than what Im thinking, and potentially out slightly wrong info.
Part of me had really hoped the fixed Guide would be out by now.

![]() |

Ok. So it looks like I had been correct in how Pregens work. So, basically you have two options as far as applying credit:
- 1.) You can apply credit to a first Level character
2.) You can apply credit to any character of lower Level than the Pregen Played (in this case Level 1-5*), which is then "held" until they reach the level of the Pregen played. (7th for the Genie and the Torrent, 6th for everyone else). Once your character reaches the correct level, the Chronicle Sheet is then applied in full on the spot, in the correct order need to be.
In option 1, you receive up to 500gp, 2pp, and 1xp, but do not receive any Boons until that character actually gets to the right level, (5th).
Something that has changed in the latest Guide is that you do need to pick who is getting credit up front, (because any conditions gained that are unresolved carry over to that character, and if your pregen dies, it counts for that character).
Can I get everyone to post the following information for me please, (for how you want it to appear on your Chronicle Sheets or needed for reporting):
Player Name/Nickname
Character Name you will be applying credit to
PFS ID you will be applying credit to, (and please note if this is going to a Level 1)
Downtime/Day Job Roll (If your Pregen has a skill that is allowed)

Cari - Chronicler Pregen |

Player Name/Nickname CariMac
Character Name you will be applying credit to: Rose
PFS ID you will be applying credit to 110249-2
Downtime/Day Job Roll (If your Pregen has a skill that is allowed): Perform Oratory: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17

I just saw that applying credit for these pregens may work a little differently than normal, so Ill look into it tonight.

![]() |

Ok, I'm being told that you can apply credit to any character that fits within the Subtier (5th-7th) similar to a normal Chronicle. I can't find anything in the Season 8 Guide to support that, but, I'll take their word for it. So, unless I hear otherwise, any character level 5-7, or you can "hold it" with a lower level character until you hit Level 5, (or level 1 for 500gp).

Lady Ladile |

Player Name: Lady Ladile
Character: Liora the Skydancer
PFS #: 192133-8
Faction: Liberty's Edge
Day Job: None
Liora is a 1st level character and will hold the chronicle until she reaches the appropriate level to apply it.
Stuck at work currently but I'll get my alias set up once I get home tomorrow morning!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to give a head's up, I'll be away Fri and Sat for my grandparent's funerals. I do not believe I will have internet access most of the time, and likely will not be able to post, or check the game during that time. Please feel free to RP a little, introduce yourselves, and the like and we will pick up late Sat or Sun. I do not expect this to cause an issue with the time frame for this Slot 2 Game.
Also, just in case, I've been dealing with a lot of games, if there are any questions I missed or didn't answer fully, or if you have any questions about the set up, feel free to ask and I will get to it.

If you have not already, can I get everyone to make sure that all of the following information is available for quick view under their character sheets. It DOES NOT need to be in this exact format, but I do need it there for easy viewing.
<Name> HP #/# || AC: , T: , FF , CMD: || Fort: , Refl: , Will: (*with any special notes or bonuses such as Evasion or +2 vs Illusions*) || Initiative , Perception (Darkvision, Low-Light Vision, etc. . .)
|| Alignment Gender Race Class/Level || and a **common mundane attack**
-
As long as all of this information is there, it can be in whatever order you like, and you are perfectly fine adding to this list, (such as "my tracked resources".
[ooc]* = You do not have to go all out, but really just focus on the ones more common to come up. Generally, I try to make you roll your saves, and I try to add in comments in the spoiler to indicate what sorts of bonuses might apply. Really, the only time I roll this sort of thing for you is when it automatically affects everyone and it's just much faster if I roll for everyone.
** = I prefer something that does not use up your resources, so if I have to post for you, I try to go for something that you are probably not trying to save for something special. Generally speaking, I will not use any of your limited abilities, scrolls, spells, etc . . . UNLESS I believe that there is a very good chance another character will die (or be removed from play such as Sleep) for a long time without your say so.

Krakos "The Avalanche" - Pregen |
In the interests of heading off possible strife before it starts, I'll share that Krakos does have a side mission involving placing some crystals at points of interest/places with a good vantage point around the area. Nothing that should compromise the primary mission but something he's been tasked to do nonetheless!
Though with stealth rolls like the one he just made I'm not sure how secretive his operation is going to be...

Cari - Chronicler Pregen |

I'll be without good computer access starting tomorrow through Sunday morning. Feel free to bot me if needed.

![]() |

Sorry everyone, I got hit with a class and a lot of extra work I had to do on the spot. I'll try to get a post in today, but most likely I will have to wait to do much until Sunday, after which it should be smooth. I will be in the field Monday and throughout the week, but I should be back home fairly early each day, and that shouldn't be an issue. Assuming I have internet on my phone, will probably even be able to update from there.

![]() |

Again, I apologize. I'm cognizant of the possibility of "ruining" the special, so I'm going to make as much of an effort as I'm able to keep this from happening and the game running smoothly, as well as the time limits.

![]() |

I just wanted to let everyone know that we have 10 days remaining for the Game Day. I'm not worried about this game, though I hate that my pacing has been so slow and irregular. I'm trying, but with work and life stuff, it just seems like one thing after another.
Anyway, just in case anyone is worried, we will be done by the deadline, even if I need to report it a tad early and finish up a few things. However, I don't really anticipate it for this one.
While we are not really all that close to the end, in some ways, can I get everyone to repost their info for Chronicle Sheets and reporting.

JW Pregen |

Question, DM B. According to the description of call lightning, each lightning bolt normally does 3d6 damage, but does 3d10 if you are "outdoors and in a stormy area—a rain shower, clouds and wind, hot and cloudy conditions, or even a tornado (including a whirlwind formed by a djinni or an air elemental of at least Large size)." Does the ring of electricity "above" us count?

![]() |

Ill take a look and get back to you, as there are other aspects you may not be aware of as well.

![]() |

Im going to say 3d8, meeting in the middle. I don't mind explaining afterwards, but the large electrical circle is not really what it sounds like.
