Nikolay hits once but does not quite drop the lesser Queen. Fondo continues to resist all the Queen plies him with - the willpower required! His counter proposal results in a hit, but just an image blown. Barael finishes off Q6 after sliding that way through the blood pooling on the floor. Dandilion hampers the Queen’s AC and laughs at her dress to make the point. Majenko readies to hit the Queen when she casts. Briar does not manage to connect with the Queen, but he does get close enough to remove an image. Charlie does 53 points of damage to the Queen and kills the last of the lesser queens. Go Charlie!

Blood drips from her rapier as it slices into Fondo - commingling with his blood. She laughs as her blade cuts flesh - though she doesn’t look as comfortable with the blade as she does with the spell. At the end of her attack on Fondo, she looks at the blade with disgust as if it has failed her and all she wants is to be rid of it.

As the Queen fights, a great mass of the damage done by Charlie heal on her body. She smiles warmly as thin rivers of blood, still dripping on her body, seem to congeal around the wounds and heal them.
One last wraith materializes out of the wall of the shaft and attacks Nikolay from his left (it comes up through the floor in V-W,13-14, attacks, and sinks back down there as well.

Fondo waits out the party, letting their efforts whittle down the Queen so he may strike more truly - and it works! Briefly the Queen is exposed, and he slides Seretthial in to bite her for 60hp damage. Not all the damage goes through, but enough does to cause the Queen real pain.
The look on her face is worth the effort. Pain, mixed with the growing understanding that she has failed in her bid to take over Korvosa.

Nikolay steps forward and lunges, dropping two images. Barael tries a flank with Fondo, but Fondo’s delay means Barael doesn’t even hit an image. Dandilion activates her hair, steps back and cackles ensuring the Queens weakness. Majenko backs off briefly and renews the haste on everyone. Briar carefully lines up his shots - but manages to shoot the empty space between the images every time. Charlie heals Fondo of all his ills. I’m having Charlie delay until after Fondo this round for sanity. I don’t want to have to figure out Fondo’s new attacks vs her new defense quite yet. :)
Many things are suppressed on the poor Queen, but not, interestingly enough, the mirror images. Apparently they are made of sterner stuff, and remain flickering in the dimness of the anti magic shell.
Also not effected: Seretthial and the Harrow bonuses.
Majenko 5’ flaps back to the Queen and was going to ready against the Queen’s spell casting. However as that seems less likely now, he attacks after Charlie.

Oh dear. That changes a lot of things.
Fondo doesn't close his eyes. I think his attacks turn out this way:

Nikolay steps up to avoid the lunging difficulties and swings, but alas he misses the Queen though he does manage, barely, to pop one image thanks to the various AC reducers. Barael steps up to the Queen and swings mightily, but cannot fell even one image. Bad Luck. Dandilion protects Nikolay - the last in the party to be deathwarded. Briar levels his bow and images scatter everywhere. Fondo closes his eyes and swings past the images into the Queen - hitting once! Charlie creates a zone of anti-magic around him and walks casually to the Queen, popping all manner of spells as he does so. Majenko readies and swings against the Queens casting.
The Queen frowns at Dandilions shenanigans. She looks briefly at the Wraith peaking up through the floor before turning to Charlie as he approaches her wreathed in the blackness of anti-magic. She heals the last of Charlie’s damage even through that resistance. However she heals none of Fondo’s! She looks down at her injuries and up at Fondo’s blade with greater understanding and a twinkle in her eye.
She steps off the ledge and falls… a few feet before the fly kicks in and takes her quickly out of sight on the floor below. Only Dandilion can see her as she casts, and disappears! (…and yes I know you have see invisibility going)

The pile of coins, art objects, and other treasures is slowly draining through a hole that has appeared in the floor. The Queen is on her knees when you arrive, shoveling loot into that hole. She stands as you appear, struggling in the small space, and holds her rapier at the ready...

Not knowing what lies deep below, Majenko flies down to Charlie and Briar. He reaches out to each of them and Dimension Doors into the basement where the crystal globe lies.
Wow, that was cool. I like this spell... I'll be doing that a LOT!

As Charlie saunters up to the queen, Barael lacks awareness of what counter magic the old man brings. As the queen retreats, for a quick moment, Barael gains awareness, as he feels, if only once, his blade glide into substance, actually connect with her. Then she is gone.
He keeps his thought to himself. I struck her!! Not a mirror, and a more painful wound, even if for a moment, she felt the bite of Black Tooth!!
Barael watches Dandi take Fondo away. His heart seizes as his mind catches up to its implication- Dandi, Fondo, and Ileosa will be in close quarters with one another.
To Dandi, he quickly questions her. What's happened?? Is it done?? I can't travel quickly... are you alright??
He turns his gaze upwards, towards the blood, then towards the tubes, where fresh blood travels to meet with the bloody mass swirling above.
Whose blood flows through the tubes?!
Worrying that the blood is seeking to accomplish something beyond its mere purpose of sustaining life, Barael closes on the tubes, and tries to halt its journey.

Not done, my love, not yet. We are whole, still. The Queen, less so. I worry,though, about the blood. This whole place reeks of magic, all tainted by the queen's virulent presence! Her blood continues to siphon upwards, through the tubes. No good can come of it.
