Yumna Issa |
Yumna continues into the chamber after the ratfolk. She renews the light on her holy symbol.
Will: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
GM Sapphire Fox |
The room has nothing to offer but a door on the other end, that seems to have holes around it that you surmise the wheel retracted the gate. You make your way into the next room that smells of guano, and a hole the looks like a vent that bats move in and out.
The following room there is a bridge, two statues and two pits
Bela Varaszlo |
"It looks as if they are ready to contest us crossing this bridge ... but how would a pair of inanimate objects do that? Hrm!"
I'm back. Still not a 100%, but no longer stuck in my bed feeling like regurgitated poop.
Bela Varaszlo |
I moved you onto the bridge, Ander. I also took the liberty of moving the others into the hallway.
GM Sapphire Fox |
so before Ander can place a foot on the bridge, Slithern halts him and points out a slight raise in the platform, that looks like a triggering mechanism Map updated white is trap
Bela Varaszlo |
"Hrm, that trigger area is beyond my abilities for I surely can't jump over that. Is it possible to somehow disable the trigger? If not, we might be able to find something we can simple push onto it. Like a heavy door, table or a statue."
Yumna Issa |
Once Slitheren has disabled the trap, Yumna takes a running leap over the trigger.
Acrobatics: 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (12) - 4 = 8
However, her armor holds her back, and she lands in the middle of the trigger.
GM Sapphire Fox |
As slitheren finishes his attempt, he sees yumna attempting her jump but lands on the trigger, though as it presses down, nothing happens and Slitheran is pretty confident he has it disabled
GM Sapphire Fox |
The wide brass doors swing open on silent hinges to reveal
a vast crypt. The only light emanates from a torch mounted
above the crypt, flickering with a pale golden fire. Tall pillars
march across the chamber, ending at a dais on the far side, on
which is set a large stone sarcophagus.
A single form rests beside the coffin, that of a comely woman
in tattered clothing. She appears to be asleep or unconscious.
“So, Kassen’s heroes have come to fight me again. You will
make fine minions in my army of the dead. Come and meet
your fate.” With that, a wicked-looking skeleton strides into
view wearing polished mail and brandishing a cruel sword in
both hands. A cold blue flame burns in its empty eye sockets.

FAQ
If an opponent casts grease on an item, and the wielder succeeds at the initial save, what happens?
The spell description says “an object wielded or employed by a creature requires its bearer to make a Reflex saving throw to avoid the effect,” so succeeding the save means the wielder avoids the effect—in other words, the spell is negated and there is no grease on the item.
A grease spell covers a solid surface with a layer of slippery grease. Any creature in the area when the spell is cast must make a successful Reflex save or fall. A creature can walk within or through the area of grease at half normal speed with a DC 10 Acrobatics check. Failure means it can’t move that round (and must then make a Reflex save or fall), while failure by 5 or more means it falls (see the Acrobatics skill for details). Creatures that do not move on their turn do not need to make this check and are not considered flat-footed.
The spell can also be used to create a greasy coating on an item. Material objects not in use are always affected by this spell, while an object wielded or employed by a creature requires its bearer to make a Reflex saving throw to avoid the effect. If the initial saving throw fails, the creature immediately drops the item. A saving throw must be made in each round that the creature attempts to pick up or use the greased item. A creature wearing greased armor or clothing gains a +10 circumstance bonus on Escape Artist checks and combat maneuver checks made to escape a grapple, and to their CMD to avoid being grappled.

Flat footed touch AC at that.
Yumna steps back to make room for the nagaji. She then raises her symbol of Sarenrae and unleashes a bright wave of angelfire.
Knowledge (Religion): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Channel Angelfire to Harm Undead: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Will save vs. DC 18 for half damage
Undead to not add their channel resistance to the save (Sun Domain)
-1 to hit for 1 round regardless of save
GM Sapphire Fox |
if it was touch AC you'll hit, and I take it the pistol does B/P? Then it will damage and still come after you
Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Yumna you know the creature as Asar who is a skeletal champion fighter and thats all
The Slitheren Kid |
The Slithern kid fires into the skeleton using ratfolk abilities AC 22 now and provoke AoO gunslinger
"Where's our lizard guy fighter?"
did the positive energy do any damage?
attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
GM Sapphire Fox |
it did hence it being at 7 instead of 1'and it will take the AoO
AoO vs slitheran: 1d20 + 9 - 1 ⇒ (17) + 9 - 1 = 25
damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
if my math is correct that drops the rat?
GM Sapphire Fox |
After seeing the rat fall over he turns his attention to the closest target, Anders
attack: 1d20 + 9 - 1 ⇒ (1) + 9 - 1 = 9

Bela Varaszlo |
Bela chants an arcane hymn, hoping to grasp control over the skeletal warrior's being.
Std action: Command Undead (no effect if he has 6 HD or more)
DC14 Will save or fall under Bela's control for a day.
IF he falls under Bela's control, Bela will order him to drop his weapon and NOT attack.
As a standard action, you can use one of your uses of channel negative energy to enslave undead within 30 feet. Undead receive a Will save to negate the effect. The DC for this Will save is equal to 10 + 1/2 your cleric level + your Charisma modifier. Undead that fail their saves fall under your control, obeying your commands to the best of their ability, as if under the effects of control undead. Intelligent undead receive a new saving throw each day to resist your command. You can control any number of undead, so long as their total Hit Dice do not exceed your cleric level. If you use channel energy in this way, it has no other effect (it does not heal or harm nearby creatures). If an undead creature is under the control of another creature, you must make an opposed Charisma check whenever your orders conflict.
This spell enables you to control undead creatures for a short period of time. You command them by voice and they understand you, no matter what language you speak. Even if vocal communication is impossible, the controlled undead do not attack you. At the end of the spell, the subjects revert to their normal behavior.
Intelligent undead creatures remember that you controlled them, and they may seek revenge after the spell’s effects end.
