Am I crazy, or is it a touch strange that the self-appointed defenders against "toxicity" decided their best course of action was to immediately jump to character attacks? It's almost as if a lot of people came here with high emotions that they wanted to vent, and reacted with extreme prejudice at the slightest disruption to their echo chamber.
Yes, it has been noted that you, while directly referring to Unicore's post, called this thread "utterly radioactive". Good job! Please stop being a drama queen and return to adding constructive discussion, if you are capable of such.

Forgive me, but calling a thread "utterly radioactive", which it demonstrably is, is not a character attack. By contrast, repeatedly calling me a drama queen is, a fact made all the more delicious by how disproportionate your reaction is to pushback that wasn't even directed at you in the first place. Perhaps you ought to take your own advice and take the histrionics down to a 2.

The only one being histrionic is you. Well, your avatar checks out.
We had, so far, a completely calm and constructive discussion and here you come in, to gin up drama out of nowhere. So, maybe take that piece of advice you just gave out and apply it to yourself, because your net contribution to this thread so far has been entirely negative.

Look, I get it: you're not happy with what's going on, you're probably worried too, and you're looking for someone to blame. But spitting venom at some internet stranger and deluding yourself like you're doing now isn't going to fix that. No part of this thread has been calm or constructive, and I suspect that deep down, you know this too. This thread has brought out the worst in people, just as it is bringing out the worst in you now. You can do better than this; we all can.
We can perhaps start by putting the speculation and the doomsaying aside, and formulate in actual constructive terms what we'd like to see from Paizo moving on. For instance: I'd like to see an acknowledgement, if not an explanation, of recent blips in communication, and would prefer a return to the previous, more consistent state of affairs where members of Paizo staff interacted a bit more with the community. Paizo can tell us what's going on behind the scenes in their own time, and to be blunt, they don't owe us even that. The best we can do in the meantime is try to make these forums a better place for ourselves, and push ourselves to be better.

I personally think Paizo is doing many things right and express my happiness about those things frequently. (In my opinion) This play test feels like something went pretty majorly wrong as far as engagement with the community that makes play tests valuable, and it is pretty natural for people to get speculative about why. I too would like people to stay civil in their discourse, but I will try to lead with kindness and not project ill-intentions on people voicing concern about a game they are potentially heavily emotionally invested in. This thread was never about demanding instant access to developer time or thought process about things that might still be in development. It is about the community of these message boards being excluded from very standard communication practices, probably by mistake, and an expression of concern having witnessed multiple people starting to feel concerned about general lack of communication regarding engagement with the play test.

Ignoring 90% of what was already said in this thread...
I want to express that I think it's....weird/strange/unusual that Paizo didn't post on their own website with blogposts about updates, and crosspost/link that on various social media. That is my expectation for how official communications from Paizo would be handled, but I am far from an expert on managing these sorts of things.
For whatever it's worth, please in the future Paizo post here on your official website (even if you don't link back to it on other social media). I don't really engage with any social media websites/sources.
