I figure the man himself will pop up in the forums, but thought I'd give him a boost until he does. This is an example of the concept of "universal archetypes" (something I think he introduced with Rogue (or Super) Genius Games back in the day). I'd love to see more 1e options!

Material for PF 2E might be more profitable. The PF 1E player base is slowly shrinking.

still as tall as I was during the PF1 publishing time but "hope springs eternal" for my diet... it's a losing battle.

Legendary Games still making more money out of PF1e than PF2e. Paizo has given up market share on PF1e, and there's still people playing and running that game (me included).
So Owen serving an underserved market is good business sense, but more than that. It's material he's still passionate about sharing, and every publisher or writer should share what they're most passionate about, it makes for better material.

Thanks for the link. My interest in PF2e (low to begin with) has pretty much ran out. I'm just now hopping on the Final Fantasy d20 material for PF1e and looking to see how it holds up. New material is always welcome.
