it's rough on the players and GM when you have to put on blue body paint then rip off your shirt and roleplay Robin Williams at the table. *-<8^0 “The ever impressive, the long contained, often imitated, but never duplicated … Genie of the lamp!”

Also: "A magic item doesn't need to make a saving throw unless it is unattended, it is specifically targeted by the effect, or its wielder rolls a natural 1 on his save (Note: this seems to suggest that if a PC rolls a "1" against, say, a fireball, he or she should have to save for all their items! I have to say that I've *never* seen this rule applied...)...

This refers to an obscure rule:

CRB p. 217 wrote:
Items Surviving after a Saving Throw: Unless the descriptive text for the spell specifies otherwise, all items carried or worn by a creature are assumed to su rvive a ma gical attack. If a creature rolls a natural 1 on its saving throw against the effect, however, an exposed item is harmed (if the attack can harm objects). Refer to Table 9–2: Items Affected by Magical Attacks. Determine which four objects carried or worn by the creature are most likely to be affected and roll randomly among them. The randomly determined item must make a saving throw against the attack form and take whatever damage the attack dealt. If the selected item is not carried or worn and is not magical, it does not get a saving throw. It simply is dealt the appropriate damage.

So a '1' on a fireball might destroy one item. That table incidentally, sort of works "outside in"; items worn under other items tend to be lower in the line of fire.

It's a little-known and rarely applied rule. When I pointed it out as a player once I got looks...

just another reason to play 'au naturel'... 8^0

I'm sure in starfinder an author will broach Skittermander Luv

hmmm... I'm imagining a bunch of arcanists naked after dimensional sliding - there's no penalty for being naked in PFS though it would be nice to have your material components... =^_^=

^title^ while clearly chronicles are legal in PFS, I haven't seen anyone use them as a projectile in the game.
Dalsine Affair would make an awesome {PFS} origami swarm.

She really must have enjoyed looking at the Vista outside her home.
I think this character could really excel.
and have a great outlook!

yes... but we all know he has a limited 5 yr lifespan before he has to buy a new OS... he's better off being Ubuntu from mwangi or Mint tribe from somewhere near the linorm kings...

I just want to play a leshy!!!

You can play a leshy now! It just has to have a leshy warden druid friend that you also cart around. Just ask Oak Sprout about that. I loved that character.

Seriously, I have seen other people who have played the familiar as the main PC. Why not you?

My much beloved Leshy Warden is a grippli, and I very much love my froggy friend. I love his sidekick Twiggy, too.

But I'd really love to play a Leshykineticist. That seems like it would be amazing fun.

PFS sanctioned food fight!

I'm waiting for an underground adventure dug by pretzel loving minotaurs of small to huge size using quilting pattern books... or maybe round tunnels where one room has etched on the floor, "NO KILL I"

Yes, some people were vocal:
honestly I loved the butterfly floor plan of a certain scenario, it was very artistic and whimsical, perfect for an old Desna temple "The archive had once served as a temple to Desna early in Absalom’s history before being refurbished by the Society, ...". Rotating the grid 45 degrees just made me laugh. Yes, it was a pain. It's a old temple not a battleground.

Apparently we're the only ones who found that humorous.

You can also do a fashion check... spider motif's are a bad sign. Throw a hand woven MW basket out there... elves will admire the craftsmanship, drow will step on it.

That's just off the top of the head, as it were.

ahhh, the devil is in the dark details... just form out the message in letters or runes using your body. No need to etch a sketch.

Yes - have another character make a Magus or use an NPC.
Make a decent deal with him, say split 50/50.
Cast Magic Jar and take over the Magus. Store your body using Shrink Item. Act like a tag team - Tap out into the jar (I suggest 2 earrings with nice diamonds in them) and back out into the Magus when he covers the earring.

yes - your BAB is pitiful as a Wiz. Even with Wpn Fnss, wpn prof(spl), long arm, exp rtrt, mir img, and blink. Then you're feat starved...

Generally a dip of 2 lvls into Monk(Flowing) or Brawler gets you all the "martial" you need and ups your saves.
Without Spell Combat and Spell Strike casting in combat isn't fun.

there are lots of silly items that are overpriced, it's like shooting dodos in a chicken coop.

Fer example;
chime of interruption. A Silence spell is about as effective and way cheaper with long range, or a silence cast on an arrow shot into the target. The chime hinders friendly spellcasting, the metamagic rod of silence gets around the chime, the chime does have a long duration but a silence spell actually negates the chime's effect due to the spell requirement used in the chime...hmmm...
Chime $16800 rad 30ft dur 10min Conc Chk DC(15+Spl Lvl)... kinda low
scroll silence 2@5 $250, 20ft rad dur 5r with no verbal components in the AoE.
cast by your party member $free
scroll widen(+3) silence 2(5)@10 $1250 with 40ft rad dur 10r.
