BAB and attack spells

Rules Questions

Is there a way to include a spell that has an attack roll and is cast as a standard action as part of a BAB with

x/x/x etc

e.g sword attack/sword attack/Scorching ray?

play a Magus or Arcanist, use the Spell combat class ability.

I was hoping to loop it into a actual rotation for an Eldritch Knight.

I believe Spell Combat is exclusive to the magus (or magi-adjacent archetypes like arrowsong minstrel bard [at 18th level], ectoplasmist spiritualist, or phantom blade spiritualist). The blade adept arcanist archetype grants the Spell Strike exploit, but does not have an equivalent exploit for the Spell Combat magus class ability; similarly, the sword binder wizard can deliver touch and ranged touch spells using Sword of the Mage (basically Hand of the Apprentice that can only be used with the bonded sword), but can only make a single attack per round with the weapon carrying the spell.

Any bloodrager can trip someone, incluing via felling smash, and then AoO that person with a spell using a ring of vengeful bloodmagic.

While feat intensive, you could vital strike, use felling smash feat to do a trip as a swift action, have greater trip, get an AoO from the succesfull trip, use this AoO to cast a spell, and then maybe stomp the bugger with vicious stomp.

at 7th level a magus meets all the requirements

at 6th level an arcanist can meet all the requirements if you spend a feat.

It’s kind of pointless use Eldritch Knight with Magus. They end up weaker in magic than either a straight Magus or a F1/W5 EK.
At 16th level the straight Magus has access to 6th level spells and a caster level of 16, the Magus/EK has access to 5th level spells and a caster level of 5th level spells and a caster level of 15, The F1/W5/EK9 has access to 7th level spells and a caster level of 14. The caster level can be boosted to full in both EK builds with Magical Knack. The straight Magus has a BAB of 12, the M/EK has 14, and the traditional EK has 13. The pure Magus has the best saving throws at 10/5/10, The M/EK has 10/5/8 and the traditional EK has 8/4/7.

The F/W/EK is has the strongest magic, where the M/EK is the weakest. The Pure Magus also has more class abilities from the Magus including Heavy Armor and Fighter Training. The only advantage the M/EK has is 1 point of BAB on the F/W/EK. I don’t know about you, but I think access to 6th and 7th level spells are better than 1 point of BAB.
