Rules Discussion

So would this be valid if were to use Stunning by using Flurry of Maneuvers, and I trip my enemy then miss with the second strike does it still trigger stunning Fist?

Strikes are not combat maneuvers or vice versa. So no, you cannot use Stunning Fist (which requires Strikes and a hit the deals damage) to perform combat maneuvers nor can combat maneuvers trigger Stunning Fist. Not even if you happen to have the Flurry of Maneuvers feat.

Shame, this should be changed in the Remastered.

Why?

You also need to "deal damage", which is only possible with a critical success to Trip.

And in general, the word "hit" concerns only attack rolls and not skill checks.

So, many reasons to say no.

I also don't expect a change in the remaster, maneuvers are much easier to land than attacks. That would make Stunning Fist much stronger.

Yes. And Stunning Fist is already powerful enough that it borders on must-pick status. It really doesn't need buffed.
