Legal Ancestries for Society in Centralized Location?

Hey community,

As the title.

I got some new planters getting involved that want to know what the legal ancestries are (0 AcP) for building their own characters.

Is there a centralized link that shows a list (with AcP costs) that I can point them too to spend / save their free 80?

So far the list of 0 AcP ancestries is really short. CRB + Kobolds, Leshies and Orcs.

It's all on this page of Character Options, but unfortunately you have to dig into the individual books to find it.

Unfortunately, the Select an Ancestry section of the Pathfinder Society Guide does not yet list orcs as an available ancestry (they were legalized via a blog.)

I suspect that language will get updated before the new version of the guide airs right before GenCon.

I wish there was a more obvious listing of the available ancestries via the character resources page, but there is not.

Hmm

Thanks Hmm.

As canny new players quickly discover they got 80 AcP burning a hole in their pocket, is there a centralized location that all Ancestries have their rarity / legality and associated costs side by side on a single list?

To where can I point out my brand new “no prejens thx” folk?

The Boons tab in My Organized Play will list them by cost (not rarity) and those are default legal.

I am familiar with those, as a Year 4 player / GM myself.

But sometimes, despite diligence in reporting games, a new player will hesitate to get themselves organized, not yet having access to the Organized Play Boons section, before even wanting to build a character.

Is there a location besides that, perhaps a quick link, to where I can refer them?

=)

What? You want a list? Well, fortunately, Doug H has you covered with his Unofficial Paizo Guides!

They will need to go there to take advantage of their free 80 AcP, though. But, yes, DougH’s site is a handy resource.

To expand on what Blake said, a new player will need to create a 2e character so they can select the character when they purchase the boon.

A lot of new players don't realize they need to actually make a character on the Paizo website to gain the benefits of ACP boons, or any boon for that matter.
