Does the name "Indrazil" sound like something suitably half-way between an elfy and a dwarfy name? Or does it sound too much like something like a drow or a fiend's name?

"Too much" is relative, though yes, my first impression was Drow even before I'd read that far. A fiend's, or a shortened form of a dragon's name, also seem appropriate, though elder, mysterious Elf works too. Does not sound like a Dwarf's name to me at all, sound slides too much. It has a fang-y quality to it, would work for an old vampire too.

Note that's when fully spoken, maybe over-pronounced. Then it might be taken to be just as awkward in the target culture as some IRL full names can be. Which would lead to using a nickname, which might lead to other troubles, like "Indy" on anything but an Archeologist. :-) A rapid reading would sound friendlier IMO.

Seems kinda elvish to me.

What might improve the result is, IMO, adding a last name that would point towards a specific part of their heritage.

For example, something like Indrazil Stonehammer.

That was actually part of my plan! :)

Indrazil Oreflame, of the Clan Oreflame! Does it work?
