Best Last Chapter

One of the recurring themes when you read reviews of APs, or discuss them online is people mentioning the quality decreasing as it goes on.

Even APs that are poorly reviewed in their totality people talk about having great opening chapters (I'm thinking specifically Serpents Skull and Giantslayer as the most commonly discussed in this area).

I'm sure there's numerous reasons for why, but my question is which AP has the best last chapter/adventure?

Kingmaker's last Book Sound of a Thousand Screams is fantastic. I know there were some issues with the rest of the AP not adequetley setting it up though I've heard the 2e remaster does a lot of work to improve that but the book itself is I think generally seen as a real highlight.

I think in 2e so far, all of the following have stuck the landing in the final installment:

Age of Ashes
Abomination Vaults
Fists of the Ruby Phoenix
Outlaws of Alkenstar
Blood Lords

It seems like it's a lot easier to provide a satisfying conclusion when there are only 3 books instead of 6.

Out of the 1e stuff, I really liked The Crimson Throne, Shattered Skull, Iron Gods, Hell's Rebels, Hell's Vengeance and Return of the Runelords.

Shattered Star or Serpent's Skull, or Skull & Shackles?

Shattered Star.

I can second Iron Gods and Hell's Rebels. I didn't get to play/run them, but I read through both those APs and the last chapters were very thematically on point and looked cool. Hell's Rebels also has the advantage of

Spoiler:
letting you kick Barzillai's teeth in for the second time while wandering through some thoroughly horrifying and neat Hellish setpieces.

Hell's Rebels Chapter 6 was very well written but Sweet Sarenrae, it was Dark as hell, no pun intended.

I'm currently running Mummy's Mask and very excited for book 6

Was just going to say Return of the Runelords. It's got a fun premise and the ending is pretty epic.
