It must be a stressful time to work at an RPG company which has always relied on the OGL.
Paizo staff are such a talented, comitted group of people. We're lucky to have you and we're lucky that Paizo is run by people who recognise the value of genuinely Open Gaming.
The Wizards "unauthorising" gambit was trash and Im glad someone is willing to call it out as such and respond to the threat such a move represents (whether they ever pluck up the courage to say it out loud or not).
Erik Mona called these "interesting times". I hope and truly believe it will be another galvanising moment in paizo's history.
You folks have got this!

This is my first post on these forums. I have been playing roleplaying games for the past 15 years, mostly D&D. I just purchased my first few Pathfinder books and look forward to playing the game and supporting you for years to come. Thank you for the work you are doing in keeping the hobby alive and healthy!

I love PF2 and have come to really love Golarion, too. I'm so glad I get to stand wholeheartedly and without reservations with Paizo once more! I just bought the Beginner Box and plan to start trying to get some friends to finally give this great game a shot.
As an aside, I know there's a certain subset of people with whom I generally agree who will caution not to look to private companies for your heroes. I do think it's always great to promote smaller publishers, and we should always hold everyone accountable when they do misbehave and be wary of hero worship. At the same time, this thread is about appreciating the good the people of Paizo are doing.

Deja vu all over again.
Glad to see most of the old heads in 3PP are finally in a position/mood to disentangle themselves completely from the rather thirsty and arbitrary business that services the OGL.
This time the licensing lunacy reached even farther than I thought possible, with almost Snidely Whiplash levels of mustache twistery going on in that document.
Glad to wash my hands of that business again, now and forever.

We really need an ORC subforum.

Technically, Community Use is probably the place to go.

I mean, you can check out my Risque Content in Pathfinder thread while you're there. Ain't nobody posted there since the Quadruple-Post Shootout of '23, though.

Huh, didn't even knew that thread existed
