What if it doesn't have one of those but does have, say, Evocation?
...and there are things that I'd absolutely describe as magical that don't have any of those tags... like the fact that a frog barbarian's tongue becomes impossibly long when they get angry enough. If that's not magic, then what is it?

Yep. That Primal trait means it's magical.

I misread the response initially, typed up my post, realized that I had misread it, and thought to myself, "Well, I've already written it, might as well post it as a reaffirmation. Maybe it will help someone skimming posts." I didn't expect it would be a big deal.
