Huh. Guess I'm just wrong on that one then. Okay. Good to know. Thanks.

Anything with the Arcane, Divine, Magical, Occult, or Primal traits is inherently magical.

For the most part, Paizo made it pretty easy to tell what is magical and what is not.

What if it doesn't have one of those but does have, say, Evocation?

...and there are things that I'd absolutely describe as magical that don't have any of those tags... like the fact that a frog barbarian's tongue becomes impossibly long when they get angry enough. If that's not magic, then what is it?

Yep. That Primal trait means it's magical.

You know, you'd think that openly acknowledging that you were wrong, and that the arguments made were compelling, would be sufficient to stop people from feeling the need to explain it again.

You'd think that.

I misread the response initially, typed up my post, realized that I had misread it, and thought to myself, "Well, I've already written it, might as well post it as a reaffirmation. Maybe it will help someone skimming posts." I didn't expect it would be a big deal.

You both don't need to worry too much about it. This can be used as a good advice to remember anyone reading this topic that's PF2 has many "hidden" traits, recursive traits and subordinated actions that eventually everyone miss sometimes and that have many unseen side-effects.
