Elemental Blast - Am I missing something?

With Elemental Blast having the impulse trait and immediately after it's definition, there is an explanation of increasing power level based on the Level entry at the end of the Impulse; Did I miss something or does Elemental Blast not increase in power every so many levels? Like a Level(+3) or such?

I guess it is possible that it doesn't increase on it's own, perhaps I missed a feat or something as well.

Just curious.

Yeah so elemental blasts are like basic weapon attacks. They increase with things like handwraps and get bonuses with runes.

Impulse feats are like cantrip spells almost. Usable constantly.

Yep, I realized after I talked about out loud with one of my kids. I guess I need to speak it for it to click LOL.
