Sandy Petersen (with a little help from the likes of James Jacobs and Lyz Liddell) put out a PF2e version of his Sandy Petersen's Cthulhu Mythos (written by Sandy Petersen and published by Sandy Petersen Games). 575 pages of Mythos player options, monsters, GOOs, GM advice and an adventure. The PDF is out now for 20 bucks and Sandy Petersen Games website. Did I mention it's by Sandy Petersen?

Has he apologized for shoveling his feet into his mouth?

Last time I looked at his Twitter he was whining about "cancel culture" so I doubt it. This is sadly a book I'd love to get but god do I hate Petersen

Damn, I knew Sandy is a religious conservative, but that alone didn't put me off buying his stuff (Paizo has, too, some very conservative people ) but that Twitter episode is ugh.

At least James and Lyz got some of my money this way.

It is sad that he has that kind of views because i bought the PDF and the book is amazing.

I love Cthulhu. I yearn for the day the elder gods return to our world and drink our sanity like an especially thick and delicious milkshake, which brings all the insert your favorite mythos creature here! to the yard.

This is especially disappointing news. Did not know this at all. Unsure if I can support this individual.

Yeah, it blows. Like, everyone else on it clearly did good stuff, but Sandy is just... such a pillweef. Favorite genre of posts by him are him saying something weird about working on Doom and John Romero replying very calmly and citing actual numbers/events.

This is definitely the kind of thing where like, it's not like you're Openly SUpporting him by buying this - it's ultimately just a book and other people worked on it - I don't even know if he put ANY work in to it himself - it's just kind of down to a personal decision on if you want to do it or not.

But man, that barbarian instinct looks neat.

From taking a first glance at some of the book, there are quite a few interesting concepts (the cats in particular) and resources to run a more horror-themed game. The balance is rather questionable, though.

I mean, things like this happen. It's definitely an error, so you might want to have a chat with their customer service.

I can confirm the PF2 version exists, I'm looking at it right now.
