Well maybe you aren't too late... I put up another chance for people to explain which true dragon is best and why on reddit at this link!

There's also lunar dragons now! Actually havoc dragons are out too, I have a link to them and the rules for silver dragons in the lunar dragon entry.

Vibrating in anticipation.
You should, we are soooo close. Yesterday (or something) Steve said that it is pretty much just one last-minute piece of art that keeps the book from being done.
My best bet is a Friday release. Any takers?
Edit: Hahahaha. It came out even before the edit window on this post expired. I didn't see that one coming XD

This is great work! I'm ecstatic to be able to play a dragon ancestry, and while it may take some convincing on my part to allow either ancestral paragon or free archetype to fully realize the concepts I had in mind, it is also perfectly balanced and fun. I'm really impressed with the amount of effort put into this book, whether that be the layout, the plethora of feats, or the artwork, it's more than I could have hoped for.

This is probably my single favorite third-party PF2 product so far. The presentation is unmatched, and the mechanics really push the envelope of what's possible with 2e while still keeping it fun and balanced. Awesome work on everyone's behalf.
Now to figure out some game to run or play in using this...

So far I've only managed to find one major error: The Spore Breath table lists "Bewildering Breath" as one of the possibilities, but as far as I can tell nothing in the book matches that.
Thanks, we saw it too! We have that marked for an errata update soon and it will be fixed in time for the 1st printing hardcover, and we passed it on to Pathbuilder and Foundry so they will have the right version.

Just realized that dragons with a burst breath will hurt when using the Dragon Breath feat since they are not usually immune to their own damage IIRC.
The burst can be placed wherever within 30 feet of you. So while it is the only breath you can hurt yourself with, you don't have to.

Thanks. I missed that :-)
It becomes immensely interesting.

I wonder how hard it's going to be to find a GM who allows Free Archetype and Ancestry Paragon and Dragons. I better start my quest to find one now.
Step 1: Recruit a bunch of players who want to also be dragons
Step 2: Form a pirate dragon crew
Step 3: Tell your GM that the Rag Tag Scaleywags need a suitable ship and a GM worth their sea salt
Step 4: Profit

Aeterna is latin for Eternal or Everlasting. Add an L to the end and you Lux Aeternal which I feel rolls off the tongue better for using it as an adjective.
But Eternal Light is basically referencing the assumed bottomlessness of the draconic wellspring of power.

One of my groups recently picked all of the battlezoo books up and have to say we really enjoy them. The content feels good, both exciting to look at without feeling like it breaks the game on its own, while also not managing to feel too derivative either.
Only real criticism so far has been that it feels like a lot of the dragon ancestry feats, especially at high levels, are 1/day powers. Even that's mostly just a taste thing for us though.

I've been searching on how to get the battlezoo books for pathfinder 2e, with no luck. I only find the 5e versions.
Can someone direct me where I can buy the pathfinder 2e versions?
Thanks

I'm so glad there's the Draconic Diehard class archetype. I wonder if I'll ever play a normal class again...
I'm so glad I pushed so hard for it to be made during the playtest. The process of testing and even designing for this project was some of the best fun I've ever had.
