Ok, I know this doesn't sound reasonable, but I am really really irritated right now that Paizo released a Second Edition Humble Bundle out of nowhere. I've been hinting and begging them to give us one final First Edition bundle with the other bestiaries, Inner Sea stuff and Rise of the Runelords.. so that we could 'complete' our collection of core books for Golarion.
Nope. Not happening. There's a big fat second edition bundle right there. Right where I don't want it. I don't want to buy a SINGLE Second Edition book, until I've completed my first edition collection. I have like ten PAGES of assets in my digital library, and I do NOT want to get the first and second edition content mixed up!!
Can anybody tell me if there is a clear way to sort the two versions out once you buy the second edition stuff? I hate to lose out on a Humble Bundle of Paizo products, but I will be skipping this one if it's going to muck up my library.
Grr..

Actually it sounds compulsive. If things have to be complete and well-ordered, and habits are to be executed the same way over and over (even if you know there are better ways), you got strong signs for compulsive behavior. Now many players and GMs are obsessive, to some degree, I am no exception (collecting pawn packages and extracting and sorting PDF images etc. etc.). Paizo's entire business model might depend on this.
Right now you have two conflicting compulsions ("must have every relevant PF1 book" and "PF1 and PF2 belong separated"). I see multiple options, but probably you won't like any:
1) Give up on one compulsion. It's tough, but liberating.
2) Use the ocassional 10% or 25% discount instead of a Humble Bundle which might never happen. It's more expensive (so you might have to skip some books), but you only have to wait for the next discount.
3) Buy the Humble Bundle and ask Paizo's customer service to transfer the PF2 stuff to another account of yours. Not guaranteed to work, but allows you to stay true to both compulsions.

I'm not sure I agree, but I don't know enough about OP to comment.
Having a complete collection of RPG books for PF1 might be compulsion but it might be an options thing and a support for the company thing too.
After all, most of the book content is still available online both legally (d20pfsrd, aonprd) and not (not getting into it, support your creators please).
If it was solely a completion thing, it would be very easy to rectify. Especially since it seems to be limited to PDFs as that's what makes up the majority of bundles.
I think it's admirable that OP wants to acquire them from the publisher and not hoist the jolly roger. My only issue is the demand for a sizeable discount to do so.
