Hello!
I have a quick question - do GMs get double gold as well as XP/ACP/Downtime/etc.? The reason I ask is I thought of a scenario that might actually come true in my case: if you level up a character solely through GM chronicles, wouldn't they have literally half the gear of a character who got there solely from playing as a player?
If anyone could point me in the right direction, please, go ahead! I would love to know the answer to this one :)

No. You get normal XP, reputation, and 10 treasure bundles worth of gold as if you had played.
Only ACP is doubled as an incentive to GM.
Why would you think you’d have half the gear as if you’d played? EDIT: Well, if you thought you got double XP that would be the mathematical case, but GMs don’t get double XP.

Hello!
I have a quick question - do GMs get double gold as well as XP/ACP/Downtime/etc.?
No. They get the same amount of gold and XP as everybody else does. They -do- get double the amount of Achievement points though, but generally speaking AcP is used to buy "access to stuff" - aside from some specific exceptions, you can't use AcP to actually buy items for your character. This is done to reward people who run games.
Example: If you want to play a ratfolk PC, it costs 80 AcP. You can achieve that by playing 20 games (4 acp per game) or GMing 10 games (8 AcP per game) (or less if you GM in a convention, those might give you extra acp). You don't get double downtime nor double reputation either - you get just normal downtime (and reputation). The reason I ask is I thought of a scenario that might actually come true in my case: if you level up a character solely through GM chronicles, wouldn't they have literally half the gear of a character who got there solely from playing as a player?
Player characters might lose some gold due to missed treasure bundles for poor rolls in skill challenges or poor choices, but GM's always get the full 10 treasure bundles - so, characters leveled with GMing will (practically speaking) always have at least as much, if not more, gold than those that have only played scenarios.
Just checking since this might be another cause for confusion: You do know that player characters can't keep any equipments they find, right? And they can't sell them for gold, either. The only rewards a character gains from an adventure are: XP, Gold, Reputation, possible boons, and possible access to certain equipment mentioned on the chronicle sheet but even then you still need to buy those equipment.
(achievement points are more of a 'player' (or 'gm') reward instead of a 'character' reward)
