I found your reddit post from... a few years ago, Makeitstop! I was just wondering if you still thought the proposed changes were balanced?

I'm playing in a game in a few weeks and wanted to see if the creator still thinks its good - I know that, looking back on some of my homebrew from more than a year ago, I sometimes realize that I had a really cool idea or that I had a really poorly built thing.

Cheers!

To clarify, I have the Paizo Advantage, which is where the 15% comes from.

I wish there was a way to clear the promo code entered, as I believe reentering it (after removing it) would solve my problem lol

Hello!

I, like many others, really want to use the gmthanks21 code for that sweet sweet 20% off. However, I am having an issue I haven't seen anyone else have; the coupon code worked, but when I modified my order, it stopped working!

To clarify, I was planning on buying AP Books 145-156 - the entirety of Age of Ashes and Extinction Curse - in addition to books 3-5 of the "We Be Goblins!" collection (yes, yes, I know they're free, but I like having physical books I can reference; plus, it's 5 bucks each lol). However, when I decided to be a bit more frugal with my money and only buy Age of Ashes and the "We Be Goblins!" line, the discount code stopped working! Now I only have 15% off the order, instead of the 32% I had with the full order.

I know this sounds like the epitome of a first world problem - "Yes, hello, I would like heavily discounted products please" - but I was really hoping to actually be able to use the discount code you put out a few days ago. Please help!

Cheers,

Rose

To save time on back and forth-- If I am able to apply the coupon while in my side cart, please let me know how to. If I cannot, and you are able to apply the discount for me, please do. If you cannot, and I was supposed to order without putting it into my side cart, please cancel the order and I'll reorder.

If I have to make a new order, is there a way to put it into my side cart after payment so that it will ship with my subscriptions this month?

I'm not a customer service person, but I had the same issue. The way you fix this is by having it ship separately from your subscriptions - if you lump it in with your subs, then the website won't allow you to apply the coupon code.

I hope this helps!

Hi!
I took a look at your account and it looks like the missing AP was stuck in an order from January so I moved it to your pending February order so they can all ship out together. You should be receiving a new email confirmation for the order as well. Please let me know if I can assist you further :)

It came in a few days ago, thank you!

Hello!

Maybe I'm misunderstanding here (a big possibility, to be fair), but I appear to be missing an item in my subscription being sent out this month?

I have been billed for Abomination Vaults Book 2 and the Ancestry Guide, but when I started by AP Subscription, I specifically chose the first book. Is that not going to be included with this shipment and instead shipped at a later date, or am I just not going to get this product (and the associated complementary PDF)?

Thanks in advance!

Hello!

I have a quick question - do GMs get double gold as well as XP/ACP/Downtime/etc.? The reason I ask is I thought of a scenario that might actually come true in my case: if you level up a character solely through GM chronicles, wouldn't they have literally half the gear of a character who got there solely from playing as a player?

If anyone could point me in the right direction, please, go ahead! I would love to know the answer to this one :)

Hello!

As the title says, I would like my Maps subscription cancelled. Upon reflection, I don't think I really will use the maps, and if I do, it'd be much cheaper to buy the options I need rather pay 20-25 dollars a month for something I may not use.

If the current order cannot be cancelled (such as having already been shipped or similar), that's okay - I'll live with one extra map, I just think I made a mistake going for the subscription.

Cheers!

Oh, I didn't know this. Thank you for the clarification!

And I think y'all have been doing a wonderful job with customer service, especially since the pandemic hit. Kudos to you :)

I just have a quick question about Firearm Ace and the scatter trait:

Am I correct in assuming that the +2 circumstance bonus does not apply to the splash damage, because you're not actually rolling it? Or does it apply, as it's still damage? If so, then I would assume that it doesn't stack (i.e., a blunderbuss attack against someone wouldn't deal 1d8+2 damage plus 3 splash damage, but rather, 1d8+2 damage plus 1 splash damage), as you could count the splash damage as part of the same damage roll.

Of course, if a dev says something to the contrary, then I'll happily go with that ruling!

Hello!

This is basically me reaching out to the Paizo CS people. Basically, I just have a question and a complaint/request for help.

My question is; what products, exactly, does the Paizo Advantage discount apply to? In my pending orders (technically my Upcoming Subscription Shipments, but that's the same words in a different coat of paint to be honest), the <i>only</i> one that has a 15% off is one particular AP book, the second book of the Abomination Vaults Adventure Path. Does this discount apply to all AP books? Maps? What about Lost Omens Books, Special Edition Rulebooks (which I will be adding as soon as I can pre-order the third bestiary through the subscription), or Adventures/Modules? I'm fine with the discount not applying to every single item I buy from y'all, but right now, it's not at all clear what does and does not get said discount, with only one particular book of one particular product line receiving it.

Secondly, my complaint/request for help is thus; with my four product subscriptions, I am supposed to receive my choice of a complementary society line. In my case, I want to choose the PFS line, but when I hit the "confirm" button at the bottom of my pending orders, nothing happens. I don't know if this is a display issue and I am confirming it or if I'm not, but I would humbly request that someone on your end address this.

Thank you!

Thank you! Although, while I appreciate the sources (and one of them had additional sources within it, so it's a decent amount of discussion), I was hoping for something more along the lines of an official response. I'm assuming, then, that there isn't one?

As written, Treat Wounds scales exclusively with the Medicine skill; even if you have the Natural Medicine skill feat (which lets you use Nature instead of Medicine for the activity), unless you also increase your Medicine skill, you're stuck at 2d8 (or 4d8, on a critical success) forever. Is this an oversight?

As a GM, I would allow my players to use Natural Medicine for this purpose, but this is partially for a Society character, so I need a concrete answer.

I suppose, for clarity's sake, I'll also ask: If I have the Acrobatic Performer feat and I'm a Swashbuckler with the Battle Dancer style, RAW, I cannot use my skill feat for the purposes of Panache, as I would explicitly need to make a Performance check. Again, is this an oversight?

Essentially, if a feat lets you use certain skills in place of others, for the purposes of other abilities, is it supposed "replace" the original skill in the text? I.E., for Treat Wounds, would it be accurate to read it as (if you have Natural Medicine):

If you’re an expert in Nature, you can instead attempt a DC 20 check to increase the Hit Points regained by 10; if you’re a master of Nature, you can instead attempt a DC 30 check to increase the Hit Points regained by 30; and if you’re legendary, you can instead attempt a DC 40 check to increase the Hit Points regained by 50. The damage dealt on a critical failure remains the same.

I know that RAW disagrees with me, so I was wondering if anyone could either point me in the direction of a member of Paizo saying something to the contrary? Or, hell, if a member of Paizo straight up answered this, that would be lovely, but I know that's a long shot lol.

I am incredibly frustrated with the Paizo shopping experience at this present moment; no matter what browser I use, no matter what settings I fiddle with, no matter if I'm in incognito or not, I simply cannot place an order with a different address.

It goes like this; I add an item to my shopping cart, let's say the Primal Spell cards. I go to checkout. I review that, yes, the thing in my cart are these cards. I proceed to Shipping, the 2nd of 4 steps.

I click, "Select Address." Because this is for a friend of mine, I click, "Enter a New Address." I enter the address. I click, "Select This Address." I get the following message: "This address has been adjusted to meet USPS standards. Please verify the changes before continuing." Sure, not a problem. I click "Select This Address" again, after verifying that this will get to my friend's house.

I'm redirected to a new page, containing nothing but the new, standardized address, with input fields if I want to change anything. I do not. I click, "Select This Address." I get a spinning, loading wheel. Nothing happens. The wheel finishes spinning. I click again. Same thing. I click "Cancel", and get this message: "There is no element on this page with the id "SelectAddress_checkoutShippingAddress"." I click the "Select Address" at the top. I get the same error message. I click the X in the top right corner. Same error message. I close down my browser and use a different browser. Same results. I use incognito mode. Same results.

I am so incredibly frustrated with Paizo at the moment. It's a great company, and makes a great game. I was able to purchase things from them as early as September 2nd, and I didn't encounter this issue. Recently, something changed on their end that made it so that I, and browsing through the forums, many other people, cannot buy anything directly from the store, without direct intervention from a company representative. Please, Paizo, get your store together; it's worked for the past decade, so why is it now literally impossible to use?

I ordered a Pathfinder Spell Cards: Primal ten days ago, but my payment method has declined twice with it. I'm not sure why, as I've been able to purchase other things from y'all and I've been able to use the card for other things, but the fact remains, I'm going to be purchasing this from a different seller at this point. Please cancel my order.

Quick question - in C10, the player's can find a shifting armor rune, mentioned as such in both the text and the treasure for the chapter.

The problem is, there's no such thing as a shifting armor rune! There's a shifting weapon rune, but the player's already would have (hopefully) found one, on a +1 striking shifting low-grade cold-iron longsword, and I like my treasure to be at least somewhat unique, so I don't want to just give them another shifting weapon property rune. What do you guys suggest/what was meant for this instead of the shifting rune?
