If you look at your account or your subscriptions page, does it show last item shipped as being the previous item in the subscription line and the next item due to be shipped being next month's release - with no mention of the product which until recently appeared to be imminent?
This is an unfortunate but common glitch with the way our subscriptions are displayed. It's pretty much been that way since I first subscribed back in 2008 and has caused me any number of worries. Unfortunately, it seems pretty deeply embedded in the way the subscription software works.
My way of thinking of it (probably not technically correct, but kinda sorta right) is that the software gets ready to ship this month's subscriptions.
The first thing it does it to delete those items from the "upcoming items" list, moving the next month's releases up.
The second thing it does is to begin an authorisation process (which takes a couple of days usually and up to a week occasionally) to let all of us know what is about to happen (our orders still aren't generated at this stage)
The third thing it does is to start generating pending orders. This is in a cryptic, pseudo-random order. Sometimes you'll be early, sometimes late. Your credit card will be "pinged" and an authorisation taken, but no funds removed. (our orders still don't always show as having been sent yet).
The fourth thing it does is to actually start shipping the orders. This isn't in the same order as the authorisations were done, so you may be authorised first and then shipped last.
The fifth thing it does is to update your "my account" page to show that this month's products were the most recent item you received.
The long and the short of it is that if you sign up for a new product line, it can trundle along all looking like you're about to receive a shiny new book....then suddenly it says "the next thing you're going to get is book two" with no mention of your book one order.
Unfortunately, we can sit in this limbo state for a couple of weeks. Ultimately the "My Subscriptions" page is not terribly accurate or reliable.
The best information about an upcoming month's subscription can be found stickied to the top of the Customer Service Forum (you might need to view it "unfocussed" if you can't see them). I don't generally get alarmed until the day has come and gone when they expect to finish up shipping.
