Fleet Feat Affecting Multiple Speeds

Rules Discussion

Does the Fleet feat affect multiple speeds, such as an undine's swim speed, or is it just your land speed? Can't find anything, and all my Google-fu turns up is discussions for first edition.

I only directly modifies your land speed. However, if another speed is based on your land speed it can modify it indirectly.

So lets take Undine as an example: Fleet does nothing for the swim Speed of 10 feet you get for the base Versatile Heritage. If you take Strong Swimmer Undine ancestry feat though, it says "Your swim Speed increases to match your land Speed" so it'd use your Speed modified by your Flee feat.

Quote:
Most characters and monsters have a speed statistic—also called land Speed—which indicates how quickly they can move across the ground. When you use the Stride action, you move a number of feet equal to your Speed. Numerous other abilities also allow you to move, from Crawling to Leaping, and most of them are based on your Speed in some way. Whenever a rule mentions your Speed without specifying a type, it’s referring to your land Speed.

That's what the rules for Speed say. So it's your land speed only.

graystone is of course correct that many effects granting you other types of Speed wil be based on your land speed and would indirectly benefit from Fleet as well.
