Acidic mist states the creatures that start there turn in the mist take 2d6 damage, fortitude save for half damage. Would that mean undead and constructs would both immune to the spell as it dose not state it affect objects?

Undead and constructs are treated as creatures, not objects.

Hmm. I suppose they are.

Construct Immunities (Ex)
Constructs are immune to the following effects, unless the effect specifies that it works against constructs:
Bleed, death effects, disease, mind-affecting effects, necromancy effects, paralysis, poison, sleep, and stunning.
Ability damage, ability drain, energy drain, exhaustion, fatigue, negative levels, and nonlethal damage.
Any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect works on objects or is harmless).

Undead Immunities (Ex)
Undead are immune to the following effects, unless the effect specifies it works against undead creatures:
Bleed, death effects, disease, mind-affecting effects, paralysis, poison, sleep, and stunning.
Ability damage, ability drain, energy drain, exhaustion, fatigue, negative levels, and nonlethal damage.
Any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect works on objects or is harmless).

Acidic Mist
Source Near Space pg. 154
Classes Mystic 1, Witchwarper 1
School conjuration (acid)
Casting Time 1 standard action
Range close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Area 10-ft.-radius spread
Duration 1 round/level (D)
Saving Throw Fortitude half; Spell Resistance no
You call forth the corrosive atmosphere of a gas giant to damage your opponents. A creature that starts its turn in the area takes 2d6 acid damage. The corrosive mist does not obscure vision.

I did forget that line. They are immune to acidic mist then.

The most legalistic reading would indicate that, yes.

I would never make that ruling, or suggest that anyone else make that ruling, though. Even without the spell referring to objects, stepping back and looking at the effect the spell creates, it is clearly the type of effect that would damage objects just fine, with only silly spell target language getting in the way.

The second part there is an Advice answer, instead of a Rules answer, but it's one that I would emphasize. If I was trying to gauge rules intent, I'd figure that Acidic Mist only mentions creatures not because constructs and undead should be acid-proof, but because no one wants the mess of also rolling and tracking damage to every piece if equipment that a creature in the mist is carrying.

It is a big nerf to the spell, which isn't very good to begin with - you can't even move the thing around.

But since it's a witchwarper spell, I immediately assume the worst option possible. You can't use it to damage a security camera, nor undead and robots. Poor witches.

Easiest fix would be switching Fortitude for Reflex.

There's little reason for the spell to only affect creatures, but here we are.
As is, objects aren't affected, so neither are constructs and undead.

For comparison's sake, things like the fairly similar Corrosive Haze or good old Explosive Blast do specifically mention objects.
That said, we're kind of in errata season still and I could easily see this as an unintended editing mishap, so I guess we'll see.
