Is an Android with a familiar immune to her own familiar's Empathic Link?

Does this familiar ability just not function for Android spellcasters, due to the Constructed trait providing immunity to emotion-based effects?

Despite the name, the link is never classified as an emotion-based effect. It’s probably more of a divination effect. Also, despite the name, the Android is not without emotions. It simply doesn’t process them very well.

Ooh, that gives me an idea. If the android player wanted it to, this could be manifest as an android having emotions and not really understanding where they're coming from or what they are. Which could be funny.
