I'm not Trained enough in 2nd Edition yet to know if this would hose something, but would using the extra action to reposition as needed mess up your Panache chain? What about casting a spell, if you took a spellcasting Dedication earlier (and by the time you get this, you'll have spells of up to 8th level, so that enemies might not be able to feel safe just avoiding you)?
If you have a valid way to use the extra 2 actions, then Panache Paragon becomes way better. Moving is not very useful, especially when you consider that you can already move and gain Panache. Casting a spell would be a valid use of these 2 actions, but there are many things that hinder it:
- You can only be Master in spellcasting, so your saves will be 4 points below what full casters get.- You will hardly have a lot of spell slots, so unless you use scrolls/wands (costing extra actions to draw them) you will mostly cast cantrips. A cantrip at -4 is not a very interesting action.
- It costs you 4 feats, on a feat heavy class. It's extremely expensive.
So, I keep it orange. I don't think it's a strong feat. And even if I can see some builds that could use it, like a spellcaster MCed one, I don't feel these builds are strong enough to speak about them.
What I am saying is there is still good rules support for this. Your claim that it doesn't work is not clear cut. It should work and most GMs will allow it to work. Its just a pity it is not expressed in a clear cut way any more.
Dexterity-based maneuvers went from RAW to GM fiat. So, it's still possible to use them, but we can't state that it'll be the case at every table.

For the Flying Blade :
The Uncommon Bladed Diabolo is Finesse and Thrown 40ft, though 2H.
The main issue is that it's an Advanced Weapon which is not from another culture or race which means that you need Advanced Weapon Training to get access to it and it's a level 6 Fighter feat. Also, even if it's nice, it's far from impressive. t's only advantage compared to the Light Hammer and the Starknife is its range at the cost of many drawbacks (damage mostly).
Fane's Fourberie at 2nd level gives you something close to the Returning rune.
You're right, I'll add something about it.
What about Deft Cooperation from the Pathfinder Agent dedication? I feel like it should work quite well with One for all.
It definitely works with One For All. You have to take into account that you should already have a circumstance bonus to AC thanks to your stance so you will certainly use it offensively.
I must admit I don't find this feat excellent. For 2 feats, you get a caster Dedication + Basic Spellcasting and can cast True Strike 3 times per day. It should have way more impact on your ability to land a Finisher. So, I don't think I'll put it in my guide as I don't see many Swashbuckler builds that would benefit from it.SuperBidi |
No prob. I think I will try it with one of my PFS characters one day.
Ok, I now understand that your 2 questions were connected. Bladed Diabolo for its ability to easily use the advantage of Deft Cooperation thanks to its range.
Well, don't hesitate to give feedbacks, it will always be interested. I still wonder how you'd get access to the Diabolo in PFS!The Raven Black |

Actually they were not connected and I definitely do not have your mastery of the system ;-)
