Spell casting question(s)

Advice

I need to know;
Does Spell Specialization apply to only one version of a spell?
(meaning lesser & greater versions).

Can you avoid aging death with Reincarnate?
(IOW can reincarnate make my PC immortal and avoid the icky option of Lichdom?)

Command Undead: "You can control any number of undead, so long as their total Hit Dice do not exceed your cleric level."
Does that mean no maximum TOTAL undead controlled?
Is that limit affected by the limit of Animate Dead?

Widen spell: It says increase area. Is Create Demiplane affected? It does not actually uses the term area.

How do I cast a spell modified by a feat if it is over level9 total?

thanks

1. One version of a spell. (Fireball, not delayed blast fireball.)

2. Yes, reincarnate works if you died from aging. And no, you won't be visited by Maruts.

3. That means maximum hit dice (ie, levels) of undead. One 6 hit dice wraith = six 1 hit dice human skeletons. Animate dead uses a separate tracker.

4. Widen spell says it doubles the AoE of spells with burst, emanation, or spread-shaped targeting information. Create demiplane cannot be widened.

5. Unless you can somehow have spell slots above level 9, you can't.

Thanks

So I could theoricaly get an army of undead just with command undead. Interesting.

How is the volume of spells like Demiplane defined then? I can increase duration, range and area but no feats increases volume?

Following the progression of spell slots, at the end there would be some overflow after spell levels 9. If they made space for it.
Some classes I think allow

I guess I would need invent a feat and ask for an ability to exchange some low spell slots for a higher one.
Crossing finger for a Create demiplane, Greater, 'Widened' spell level slot 12.
XD

Use a metamagic rod.

I think you may have misunderstood the answer re total HD of undead with command undead. There is no specific limit on the number of undead, but their total (e.g. sum of) HD is limited. So you can have a bunch of skeletons or a smaller number of more powerful undead under your command (or a mix), whose total HD added up do not exceed the limit.

I did then; I thought any ONE commanded undead could not go over the limit.

RE: Use a metamagic rod.

HAHA! :D
