Can Sword and Board fighters take the Twin feats, using the shield as the second weapon? If not, I'm not seeing a lot of feats for that style of play.

If you get a Shield Boss or Spike, then yes.

But not the Shield Bash?

That's correct. Shield Bash is not a weapon.

Shield Bash: A shield bash is not actually a weapon, but a maneuver in which you thrust or swing your shield to hit your foe with an impromptu attack.

Get a boss or a spike and doubling rings and you are fine.

What are "doubling rings"?

Shadow Lodge

Doubling Rings (Core Rulebook pg. 609)

Basically, they allow you to get away with only having one magic weapon.

They also provide a shield using character with excellent versatility if the one weapon they enchant is their shield boss/spikes.

Oh, I haven't even started playing yet. Won't have to worry about magic items for a while. Was just wondering if the twin feats were available.

Well. Yes. Between 2 weapon feats (assuming spikes or boss), shield feats, and feats that don't care what you wield, sword and board fighters have the largest number of feat options to choose from.

Another question. On the Shield Warden feat, when you use Shield Block to help an ally, do they get the reduced damage, or does the fighter take it?

The ally and the shield take the remaining damage.

That's what I figured. Thank you.
