I personally like the witch for the most part. A few relatively minor tweaks here and there and it should be good to go.
But it lacks the ability to get Reach Spell, which is not only a pretty big disconnect from the other spellcasters- all of whom have that feat as an option- but also makes it difficult for Witches to use many of their offensive hexes without putting themselves in extreme danger.

Bear in mind - this is a playtest. They've said that the listed options are not all of the feats available. They probably removed all the feats that are shared with other casters (metamagic, maybe some bespell weapon type deal) so they'd get more feedback on the new ones.
That may be true but is odd with the other playtest classes all having duplicate feats.

It's mentioned in the document that the swashbuckler is missing a bunch of duelist fighter feats as well.

In PF1e, the Prehensile Hair hex accomplished this pretty effectively, at least for touch spells at 10 ft. For my witch, that was just far enough so the fighter could be between me and the target.
Living Hair is severely underpowered in that regard. I would have hoped they would at least used Spell Attack and DC for the hair in place of normal attack.
But my point is, Living Hair should have some upgrades at higher levels to allow it to creep further out to attack, grapple, and deliver touch spells.
