Has anyone made any progress on the message backlog here since Monday?
There were several problems with the latest bunch of auths beyond subscription cancellations that will lead to orders either shipping with unwanted items or failing to ship at all because of various problems in the orders from the Paizo end.

When should we start worrying about our August subscription sitting in Pending? Got the email that my subscriptions were processing/etc 8 days ago. Saw the post that shipping was delayed until this week due to needing more time for Customer Service to catch up on post-GenCon backlog of requests. I know it takes time to process and usually I don't mind waiting, but so excited for so many things in this shipment that its getting difficult. When's it appropriate to ping CS asking about a particular order? I'm guessing we're not at that point yet, but was hopping to know when it would be :)

So I should see the order completed and shipped by the 27th since I got the first notification on the 15th.

If you look at the first authorization email, it usually has expected to ship within 1 to 7 days BUT with the backlog it probably will be 1 to 7 days from today, if not later.

If you check the first post in this thread it shows when all orders should be shipped out. Each month, the CS team are pretty good at updating the OP if things shift around (so at this stage, August 28th is the best date we have). The order in which subscription orders are spawned is not necessarily the same as the order in which they ship out. Those emails with their estimated shipping windows are not very reliable, in my experience.
It's a pain when one's shipment is held up past the window (since you feel like you've wasted a week or two by not asking about it earlier). Nonetheless, most of the time checking on a subscription during the shipping process will just tie up CS resources and probably result in a "everything looks fine" response.

Does this also apply if the subscription items' pages say they are in the sidecart, but there is no pending order email?

No - that's a problem. By now the subscription should have spawned. If you've still got one of this month's items (like the Lost Omens World Guide or something) in the sidecart, I would start a new CS thread.
All subscription orders are supposed to have spawned by now, so you should have a pending order with everything you're going to get.
I was commenting on how long it can take for that "pending" order to convert to "shipped".

In fact -- Each month you should follow the thread like this one. A key posting would be like Sam Phelan's post from Thursday, August 15th at 4:09 p.m. If you see a post like that and you do not have any e-mail or new order with a status of Pending at that point, then you know at that point that you have a problem, and you need to contact Customer Service to get it fixed.
For "pending" converting to "shipped", there should be a similar posting next week indicating that they have finished shipping -- at which point you should recheck your order and contact them if it is still Pending. There is no need to contact them before that point unless your auth e-mail or pending order shows a problem on its own (such as including something that shouldn't be there).

12 Business Days from August 15th is September 3rd (or August 29th if they count Saturdays as Business Days).
I don't think that's when they plan on starting shipping. At least, I hope not, since I have the exact same message from the exact same date.

At this stage, August 28th is the best estimate of when everyone’s package will have shipped. If you don’t have a PDF by then, it’s worth chasing down what’s going on. Check this thread first (in case they’ve extended the shipping window) but if it seems like all shipping has finished and you don’t have the PDF, you should start a new thread in the CS forum or give them a ring.
Don’t assign too much meaning to the “expected to ship by...” bit from the subscription emails. They don’t mean very much.

Do you have any pending order(s)? If you have one, that should be your subscription e-mail.
If not, you may want to go to the product page for any item that you know should be in the order, locate the "View order" link, and click on it. The page with your order should show whatever would have been e-mailed to you.

My order shows pending when I go to my account. Just used to emails about it too.

Or Thursday, since Wednesday itself is the last day of the shipping window.
Better yet, keep checking this thread for posts by somebody on the Customer Service team informing us that they have finished shipping for this month (in which case you should contact them ASAP if your order hasn't shipped) or that they have to adjust the end of the shipping window for some reason (in which case we will have a bit longer to wait).

Is it weird that the money came out yesterday for my subs, but the order is still pending?
The same thing happened with me. I think they redid the authorizations because the original ones expired. Since tomorrow is the last day of the shipping window, they should be (and almost certainly are) doing everything they can to get these last few orders shipped ASAP.

Mine got two auths yesterday that were each ~2/3rd the order cost, but slightly different values each time. And while the order is still pending it says shipped (as of two weeks ago now, but not when I checked on Satutday) with an estimated time in transit(not an estimated time to ship like before), but no active tracking. And PDFs associated haven't dropped, so I'm a little confused.

I'm still waiting, too. Honestly, it happens sometimes that all the sub orders don't go out until street date or after. Last month, I was near the beginning of the shipping window; this month, I'm apparently near the end.
But PDFs are never released before the shipping label is printed. Going into the system and changing it this one time would almost certainly take more time than just finishing the shipping process.

Yup, still waiting for my shipment to change from pending to shipped. At least delivery to my ship to location is fast.
And there's still 3.5 hours left until 5 pm PDT. So, might still get lucky that it goes to ship status today.

Odd. In the past, I feel like I've always seen the start of the tracking show up on the website. I don't see that yet 3 days past. Not really worried as I have my PDFs to read. Just thought I would mention something.

Will let me know that they believe all pending subscription orders for August that could ship, have shipped. If your order hasn't shipped yet, I recommend checking your order history to see if there's any indication of what's going on. CS is working through our inbox of issues both email and forums, as quickly as we can, but we are still dealing with an extensive backlog.
