I'm not a fan of daylight saving time. Its confusing as heck for the animals
I'm not a fan of daylight savings time either. But most of the proposals for getting rid of it here in North America are for permanently moving the clocks to be different from sun time. Permanent Daylight Savings Time.
I hate it when "noon" isn't 'when the sun is directly overhead'. Where I live in my timezone, Daylight Savings Time means that "noon" is nearly two hours earlier than actual sun time.
Animals wouldn't mind if they never had to adjust again, but it's going to leave me permanently off kilter.

Building that upper body up eh? I feel like climbing has got to be mostly upper body str. Do you suppose the possibility of falling increases the amount of effort you put into it?
And you should try to rely less on upper body strength if you want to climb for longer durations. Your lower body is where the power is at. Granted I'm not very good at following my own advice, but these days I do try to remember to move my hindpaws.

Person: well I don't do debit or credit cards.
ME: well sorry for ya. You can go X they take cash.
I swear the people that don't use cards are going to just keep finding it harder and harder if they don't move forward. I Imagine eventually cash won't be a thing anymore everything will be digital in maybe another 20 years or so.

Ascension 14 completed with Silent.
I beat 5 with ironclad. I got the atk upgrade egg early and swapped my starting relic out for extra energy one. that combined with a lot of drawing and the gold card that does damage for every card you exhausted made me beat most fight the first or second turn. The heart solidly stomped me. not enough defense. I think my favorite relics so far are the ones that give you a dex or str for every 3 attacks.

You know you don't have to beat the heart to complete the Ascension runs, right? I don't even try to fight it. Skip the keys, get through the third boss, and you're done.
Yeah but I kind of like too If I can. I feel like otherwise I build up theat big scary deck for no reason. I do only go for them if I am sure I can beat the third boss.

Whoa I didn't realize the Great Eastern Women's half marathon had rather attractive prizes.
For elites:
1st
Crystal Trophy and SGD $3,500
2nd
Crystal Trophy and SGD $2,000
3rd
Crystal Trophy and SGD $1,200
4th - 10th
Crystal Trophy and SGD $300
For common folk:
1st
Crystal Trophy and SGD $2,500
2nd
Crystal Trophy and SGD $1,400
3rd
Crystal Trophy and SGD $1,000
So far that's the biggest prize monies I've seen, but again I'm definitely not good enough for any of that.
To give an idea on how fast the elites go:
Race Results of the Great Eastern Women's Run 2019
Mok Ying Rong - 1:26:26.
Rachel See - 1:27:04.
Yvonne Elizabeth Chee - 1:32:58.
Holy sh*t.

Met with some of my old friends and had hotpot. Whacked some leafy greens and lots of meat during the steam boat and stayed away from the ice cream bar. Also ran up Mt Faber today, at least I don't feel that bad about myself being a wimp.
Also had some yummy enormous blueberries. Have officially checked off all the foods to eat after a half marathon.
Directly after the half marathon I ate an apple and a boiled egg, drank 500 ml of green tea then went to my BFs house and ate a piece of cheese out of the fridge. Went back home and ate a dry curry with salmon, turnips, French beans, eggplant and tomato. Had nai bai(a leafy green) stir fry for dinner. I've been eating spinach and egg omlettes with turmeric for breakfast for the last few days.
Then had some pineapple for supper. Yesterday I had some duck, today I had beef in the hotpot and ate blueberries for afternoon tea.

Vidmaster7, I saw Opeth live yesterday.
Who was opening for them?
They headlined the festival I was at Saturday with Alcest, Primordial, Jo Quail and a few others (like 30+ bands including Mayhem) - but those were the stand-outs.
The Vintage Caravan. Which, honestly, I kinda liked better then Opeth themselves.

Only show like that I went to was a "green jelly" concert and their opening band was power glove. Power glove was way better.
