Best way to activate Blood Frenzy Style

Advice

So I have a character that uses Blood Frenzy Style, and its kinda cool with Blood Frenzy Strike and Assault.
But it bugs me that I have to wait for something to hurt me before I can start using it, so I'm wondering what the best way to deal a small amount of damage to oneself is.

Assume I don't have an Ally to poke me, though I might be able to get a familiar.

What class is your character? One level of Pain Taster is an option, but it costs three feats.

Quote:

Masochism (Ex)

At 1st level, a pain taster becomes empowered by pain, and is inured to its effects. She receives a +4 class bonus on saving throws made against pain effects.

Additionally, a pain taster can deal lethal damage to herself at any time to gain a bonus on attack and damage rolls. Doing so is a swift action that deals 2 points of damage to the pain taster, does not require an attack roll, and bypasses any damage reduction the pain taster possesses. For 1 round, the pain taster gains a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and a +2 bonus on damage rolls.

Every 3 levels thereafter (4th, 7th, and 10th), the amount of damage the pain taster deals to herself increases by 2 and the resulting bonus she receives on damage rolls increase by 1 (to a maximum of 8 points of self-inflicted damage and 5 points of bonus damage to other targets at 10th level). At 7th level, the bonus on attack rolls gained when using this ability increases to +2.

2 lvs of Holy Vindicator also works, but it's a standard action to do so.

I believe there is a hell knight group that uses pain as a trigger. They have a sharp spot in there armor that does 1 hp damage they use. Another option might be a familiar, they in general do small damage. Have your familiar bite you as you enter combat. Just a few thoughts.

A Vicious weapon also works wonderfully (can't belief I forgot).

You could put spikes on your weapon's pommel or haft. Take some damage while you draw, d3 or d4 probably.

Why the heck does Blood Frenzy Assault have a prerequisite of Bloody Assault, when the bleed from Blood Frenzy Strike is straight up better (and bleeds don't stack)?

Feat tax? Also from what I read, multiple variable bleed of the same type has the effect of, "roll all and take the highest".

So Bloody Assault (1d4 bleed) and Blood Frenzy Assault (2d6 bleed). In other words, 1d4 or 2d6 (min 2).
