Why do kyokors hate cities so much?

General Discussion

They seem to regard the existence of cities and other gatherings as some kind of personal affront, but it doesn't explain why.

Are you seeking genetic, brain structural, psychological, psychiatric, philosophical, metaphysical, sociological, geopolitical, or metagame explanations?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Kyokors hate everything. Cities are a thing. What's more, cities are a thing in which other things are very densely packed.

Are you asking "Why did they not give a specific explanation in the setting material?" or "What are your ideas for why they hate cities specifically?" Because those questions have two very different answers.

In general, Paizo doesn't give many specific answers to stuff in setting because they either want to preserve the answer for a future book or so they can make you, the GM, supply it for your game. This by the way is why we rarely get full world maps or full galaxy maps...in case they need to make up a new country/system on the fly.

Well, they're Kaiju, essentially. And historically, Kaiju do not respect the works of man.

Probably because they were designed as a weapon and the more people they kill faster the better.
