I watched The Green Mile a few days ago and it's inspiring me to create a new character from the idea of a kind, shy and pacifist giant. It would probably be a druid or a bard, I don't know yet.
And I want to accentuate the idea of the solitary, sweet, giant man, so I'd like this character to be large-sized. Problem is that I don't really know how to do it. I know I could use enlarge and permanancy but it doesn't work right as the character is supposed to be naturally large, born like this.
My GM would probably agree on giving me this especially if it's not a charcater that would greatly benefits from it, however I don't like to play off the rules, so do you know any rule or tool that would allow me to do this ?

I don't see a way to do it on 1st level using standard character creation rules. But if the GM is working with you, he may allow to aply the giant template to your character. There are many templated monsters in the published books, why not make a templated humanoid?

For 1st level it gets a bit tricky it gets easier once you start getting levels, the only way I can think of to do that at level 1 is to go into the race builder and build your own race and then have the gm either ok or veto it, if they veto it ask for the reason why if it is just because they don't like an ability you gave the race going in change it and show it to them again.

The rules pretty much forbid what you're trying to do. Because Power Gamers. But you're not trying to powergame, so &*^%$&^%$ the rules. Most reasonable GMs will be fine with such a request. Just tell your GM what you want to do and ask for GM help.
One warning: all sorts of combat shenanigans become possible when large. This is why the rules make it hard to start Large. This is also why so many melee PCs find a way to become large. My favorite method is the cleric's Plant(Growth) domain. You're not seeking shenanigans, so you should be fine.

Correction: the rules discourage what you're trying to do. &%&^% the rules and just run it past your GM. It's not like you're trying to be PFS legal.

Shifter - Rageshifter: a mix of the shifter and the barbarian, grows in size for rage, but can go berserk.
You can also pick a human and slap it with 7 race points for it to gain the Large size.
I will say though that there could be a reason why we haven't seen a[nother] Large 0HD race [aside from the Trox], such as a half-giant, because being Large is extremely limited. You cannot fit or will have a hard time fitting in most places, including inns and dungeons.
I'll say this before it gets brought up: in Starfinder, you'll likely be in open spaces rather than restricted ones, so that's why there could be more Large-sized alien races available.

Custom race building rules. I believe Large is 7 points and requires you to also take "monstrous humanoid" as well, which is 3 points and gives darkvision. IIRC most core races are in the range 10-12 points, so you can't afford much else (the usual stat distribution of one flex or two at plus two and one at minus two does not cost points). But if you're not cheesing it and your GM is fine with it that's a way.

There's Goliath Druid, he can wildshape into a giant, and eventually he can stay in that form all the time. It's not exactly 'born giant', but you can flavor it as innate ability that he embraced wholeheartedly.

If you are starting at level 6 or higher river, cave, smoke, snow and wood giants are all cr6 which is the lowest cr I could find so it would cost you 6 levels 3 of which you would get back as the campaign goes on, who knows might even be an opportunity for the rest of the party as well a party of what would normally be monster going around saving people would make for some interesting plot lines.

Perhaps a half giant might work. There are more options If you are allowed 3rd party options. I am fond of the Dreigi, especially some of the less powerful write ups.
If 3rd party is allowed the giant blooded template would be the best bet, its actually worth a +1cr unlike the paizo giant template(which is cr+0.3 at best) so even at level one so long as they put their level into an npc class(even just temporarily)they could do it.

Thanks for replying ! Yes I know it has been almost a month :D
I discovered the race building rules thanks to you and my GM and I came to an agreement very easily thanks to this tool.
Unfortunatly the Giant was killed very quickly as he ate 3 crits in a row at level 2. That's the second characeter I lose to punny wolves being crit machines in 3 months !

I would give a level penalty to this PC. That means a 1st level PC would be considered 2nd level for purposes of xp and leveling up. If you do this, you should take Toughness and whatever else you can find that increases hit points.

Like Michael Clarke Duncan!
I mean, it's not necessary to be a "person who is of Large size" in the game mechanical sense for the concept to work. Orcs get as tall as 7'1" and Nagaji as tall as 7'5" per that chart in the ARG. So you could just roll up a Nagaji Scaled Fist Softstrike monk who is the size of Yao Ming (but thicker.)

I would call them tall, given that I wouldn't consider myself a giant and they would only be a few inches taller than myself.

But then I'm 6'5"/cevah
depends on the person I suppose. I dated a girl that was 6'1 and she told me she didn`t like being so tall because it made her feel like a giantess.
