Dawn, Day 3
Female Dhampir Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +2
"As soon as the creature is gone." Lamb replies.
The creature continues to feast for a moment before it turns to look at the town. It stands for a while on the edge of the woods before turning back.
After a while you can hear the monkeys begin to call to each other and move about.
One climbs the side of the building you stand on and is startled by your presence, and quickly becomes panicked as it sees wolf.
It starts to howl out cries as it jumps across to the roof next to you, where it is joined by 2 more a few seconds later.

Jester tries to pull himself up to the roof, pushing with his hind claws at the wall.
As he starts getting purchase on his climb the 2 monkeys on the other roof start to run away.
The one that bit you starts to run only once you clear the lip of the roof.
From the rooftops around you you start to hear screeching and howling.

Two piles of poop manage to connect with Jester, one manages to hit him square in the face. It manages to get in his eyes and makes it difficult to see.
You can discern shapes within 10 ft, beyond that everything is a blur.

Wolf looks on for a while, and then says "Look little Dragon. This is how!"

Wolf suddenly burst into a blur of speed, and jumps over to the nearby building. He shuts his Jaw over a nearby monkey and rips a chunk of its flesh out.
The bite that Wolf takes out of the monkey, happens to be the monkey's throat and it collapses in a pool on flailing limbs and blood.
All the monkeys start to howl again as they start to run away at full tilt, climbing walls and leaping across gaps between buildings
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
Jester sits down and blows at his hurting finger. Wolf is so cool. And I am not. he thinks.
Male Phantom Fort +1, Ref +1, Will +0
Wolf grabs the corpse of the monkey and brings it over to Jester.
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
Jester violently shakes his head to get the poo off his face.
Then he accepts the limp body. He looks at it. He tries to smash it's head on the roof but only manages to break a shingle. Finally Jester simply takes the apes head in his mouth and tries to break between his jaws like a nut.
Str: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
GM reqested Ref: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
The splintering bones of the crushed skull, fortunately, do not embed themselves in Jesters mouth.
However a mouth full of bones does make the brains a bit more difficult to enjoy
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
Jester spits bones trying to get them out of his mouth with his tongue. He doesn't look as if he enjoys that. Once the bigger parts are out he swallows the rest. Taking a bite from the leg he gets his mouth full of fur. So he starts spitting again. He hands the ape back to Wolf "I think I like fish better."
Male Phantom Fort +1, Ref +1, Will +0
"Look, Dragon. You have to worry a bit, and then get to the meaty parts." Wolf shows how to rip through the skin and get to eat the flesh underneath.
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
"But that's a lot better on the large meat thing we chased." Jester replies while he follows with curiosity how Wolf is doing that.
Male Phantom Fort +1, Ref +1, Will +0
Wolf's bloody snout grins. "Yes, that's why you get one large one, or chase lots of small ones!"
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
"How do we get off this roof?" Jester asks looking around. As he doesn't want to jump back.
Male Phantom Fort +1, Ref +1, Will +0
Wolf still digs down on the monkey.
Female Dhampir Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +2
Lamb speaks from the other roof, from which she had been looking at her two companions. "You're the one with wings, little Jester."
She cocks her head to one side and points. "Also, there's a door, right over there."
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
A door! Jester moves excitedly to find out what's behind. He opens it and walks inside the house.
The house is much like the one that they reside in. The layout is different but the style and contents are similair.
The door opens onto stairs that lead down to a hallway on the upper floor of the building, flanked by rooms with beds and cupboards and chests. The lower floor contains a kitchen and a large communal room
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
"A chest!" Jester calls out. He gallops there and checks how to open it.
How big is this chest?
1m by 0.5 by 0.5, the lid is just hinged, no lock or anything
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
Jester opens the chest to look inside.
Clothes, oh so so many old clothes
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
Jester empties the chest by throwing everything out. "Look Wolf a box. Large enough for you to sleep in!"
Male Phantom Fort +1, Ref +1, Will +0
Wolf sticks his head through the roof-door. "What are you jabbering, little dragon? I need no box to sleep."
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
"But then we both would have a box!" Jester replies. He can't understand how someone would not appreciate having one.
Male Phantom Fort +1, Ref +1, Will +0
"I sleep with Lamb, Dragon." Wolf replies
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
"Lamb, do you want a cozy box?" Jester shouts upstairs.
Male Phantom Fort +1, Ref +1, Will +0
Wolf looks at Lamb for a moment, then back at Jester. "I don't think she does, little dragon."
Female Dhampir Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +2
Lamb, in the meanwhile, has mostly been looking at the edge of the forest where the large brain-eating creature had come from.
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
Jester bites the handle and drags the chest along downstairs. Through his gritted teeth he tells "Shen I'll hash two bokshesh!"
Male Phantom Fort +1, Ref +1, Will +0
Wolf jumps down and decides to assist Jester in any way he can.
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
After Jester places the chest in their house next to his original chest with Wolf's help he hurries up to the roof again to Lamb. "Can we finish our project now?"
Female Dhampir Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +2
Lamb still stares at the forest edge, looking for any disturbance, before answering Jester.
There is movement in the leaves as if the beast still sits there, however it doesn't break the cover of the trees. After a while the scene stills and the leaves stop moving.
Female Dhampir Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +2
Lamb turns to the other two, and says "It seems to have left us. Let's go finish our house."
Male Phantom Fort +1, Ref +1, Will +0
perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
"It's still there, Lamb, waiting for us. It doesn't like chasing."
"But I can still smell it there."
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
Jester goes back to work enthusiasticly. After a few more hours of crafting and digging everything is finally finished.
Craft(Untrained): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15
For something built primarilly by beings with no hands, the final product is surprisingly sturdy, however it does take most of the day.
As they work, Wolf keeps an eye trained on the edge of the woods. There is still the odd disturbance of a branch and a 'wrong' smell on the breeze
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
Looking at their work Jester asks "Where do we get water now for our pond?"
Female Dhampir Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +2
"We could wait for rain", Lamb muses "but I have a better idea."
She walks outside towards the well with en extra bucket.
"Spirits of the afterlife, I call on thee. Head my words and do my will. Fill this pond with well water."
casting unseen servant
Before long, the bucket from the well begins to rise, water is poored into the bucket Lamb brought out, and this is then enmptied out into the dug pond. This process is repeated over and over again while lamb ruffles her hands through Wolf's shaggy mane.
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
Jester is suspicious of this bucket. He sneaks after it and tries to sniff out what it is that makes it move. After a while he gets bolder and stands in the way of the bucket. But the bucket just walks around him.
Female Dhampir Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +2
Lamb giggles. "What are you doing, little Jester?"
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
"Finding out who carries this bucket." Jester replies.
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
The invisible servant pours the bucket into the pond. But before going back to the well it asks "Same procedure as last time Miss Sophie?"
On getting a confirmation it walks to the well again stumbling over the dragon and almost falling.
Female Dhampir Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +2
"It's a spirit, Jester." Lamb says. "Someone from beyond the veil. Someone we've taken before."
Copper Dragon (2) HP30 AC14 F6/R4/W4 Perc+8 Init+1 Fly+6
Jester is taken aback. "Then why don't we let all the spirits you've taken do the work for us? They should be able to do that in no time. Or is that the only one you've taken so far?"
Female Dhampir Fort +4, Ref +4, Will +2
"I've taken many, dear Jester. But spirits deserve their rest as well."
