Does the bonus for additional blasts striking the target after the 1st apply to all CMB Bull Rush checks, or is it cumulative?
Example #1: CL15 caster makes 3 ranged touch attacks for 3 blasts. Then rolls 3 Bull Rush attempts, all at +20, taking the best result.
Example #2: CL15 caster makes 1st ranged touch attack, and then a Bull Rush attempt with +0 bonus. This is followed by 2nd ranged attack and 2nd Bull Rush attampt at +10 bonus. And finally, the 3rd ranged attack and 3rd Bull Rush attempt at +20. The caster used the best result of all 3 Bull Rush attempts.
(These examples are assuming all 3 ranged touch attacks successfully hit their target.)
I'd assume that RAW all 3 rolls get the necessary bonuses, otherwise why really include the statement to only use the highest roll. The third ball (or 4th, 5th, etc.) is almost guaranteed to be higher with such a significant bonus to the roll, if using cumulative rules. Though RAI may be to use the cumulative rule as it makes sense that multiple sequential hits have greater impact on a target that already been knocked off it's center of balance.
Granted this spell wasn't exactly written very well. My GM and I have ruled that you only make 1 CMB roll per target, since the attack hardly ever misses anyways. And since battering blast is so easy to abuse with all sorts of cheese.
