Where in the world of Golarion would you....

Advice

...set my campaign?

My current game (*) takes place along the edge of "the world's loftiest and and largest mountain range." I designed my module to be non-specific, to fit into any world of the GM's choosing. Now I wonder where we would put it in Golarion. Here are the details:

- The countryside is called The Great Glacier Region, home to an ancient confederacy of dwarf people.
- The dwarf civilization has fallen to ruin, so the area is currently a mostly uncivilized borderlands.
- A curse hangs over the place, allowing an evil elf necromancer to hold the northern mountains.
- An unnamed threat, from beyond the nearly impassible peaks in the west, has recently caused a great movement of refugee barbarian people (human and half-orc) into the area.
- Humans (who are allied with the dwarf people) are ruled by their marquess from a city in the plains that lies 180 miles to the east.
- The capital city is a place of intrigue.
- The local human settlements are tiny (mostly walled villages) and spread downhill along a river, east towards the plains, growing larger as they get closer to the capital, a large city. A metropolis lies many leagues beyond the large capital city.
- Those who remember "The World of Greyhawk" (the Gygaxian masterpiece) will note that my campaign would fit nicely in the western part of Sterich (with the Crystalmist Mountains and Dry Steppes to the west.)

So, where would you put this in the official Pathfinder home world? I value your opinions.

The Realm of the Mammoth Lords sounds like a good place to start.
It's up north so you have the crown of the world for your frozen northern mountains.
It's bordered by the World Wound (full of demons), the Hold of Belkzen (full of Orcs), and Irrisen (full of witches), and is close enough to Ustalav that some undead b%~$+~~@ probably isn't unheard of.
It's got a big old mountain range running through it so you can plop your campaign down on the east side so the mountains are on the west.
You may need to do a bit of reflavoring to get the marquess and city of intrigue to work though.

Irrisen and the Land of the Linorm Kings could also work but their mountains are to the south so the geography would have to change a bit.

Iobaria fits geographically but less demographically and its not on Avistan so there's less written about it.

You could put it in Northern edge of Casmaron (sp) along the Crown of the World. Maybe just East of Iobaria.
