Nercocraft control

Advice

As my title states im curious how nercocrafts are controlled, are they controlled as per constructs or using HD pool of animate dead?

In order to create a necrocraft, a spellcaster must use at least five undead creatures (or their corpses), all of which must be under the creator’s control, helpless, or slain. A larger undead or corpse can be used in place of two that are one size smaller. The creator must stitch, glue, or otherwise bind the parts together in the desired conf iguration, then cast animate dead and make whole to complete the construction (the material component cost of animate dead is 50 gp per Hit Die of the final necrocraft). The creator can’t create a necrocraft with more Hit Dice than her caster level. As with animate dead, the necrocraft is under the creator’s control when created. Note that creating a necrocraft requires casting a spell with the evil descriptor.

It seems like it is intended to count as part of the HD limit provided by animate dead, so it's part of that pool and not separate. However, this is never explicitly stated. The alternative would be that there is no limit which seems incredibly OP.

There's your answer. They're controlled in the same way as other undead created by the animate dead spell.

Necrocraft are not constructs, they are undead. Any means of controlling undead will work with them.

I understand they are under my control when created but what im trying to figure is do they part take of my Animate dead Pool or are they just kinda like Undead that are under my control, because iy merely states that they are under my control not how control buckets they effect

Since they are created with the animate dead spell, they use that pool.

Necrocraft is a particular means of getting animate dead with the characteristics you desire, but it is still animated dead using that spell.

But they are also created with make whole in conjuction with it, thats where my confusion lies if it was normal as per animate dead is then why cap it out to my lvl,

The title of the post makes me think of other things though

"Necrocraft don't kill people, Necromancers kill people"

"Necrocraft Reform Now"

"More kids, less Necrocraft"

"You can take my Necrocraft from my cold dead hands"

Don't over-complicate things needlessly. The necrocraft creation rules explicitly refer us to the animate dead spell to determine how they are controlled. Anything that's missing or ambiguous in the necrocraft rules should be resolved through a reading of the animate dead spell. The animate dead tells us that you can control a maximum of 4 HD per caster level of undead with the spell. Necrocraft are undead being controlled by the spell, therefor they count against this limit.
