I'm not talking about good or bad, I'm talking about interesting or fun choices.
Grand majority are overly wordy that give tiny bonuses in very narrow circumstances so when they do come up it won't be "oh hey, that's so cool!" it's "ah, a +1 bonus I forgot about."
Just do away with so many things that give a measly +1 bonus it makes everything feel grindy and hard to keep track of. If a player isn't going to be excited to take it, it shouldn't be an option.

In planning a few characters, I've run into situations where I basically run out of ancestry feats I want to take. I mean, I'm making a lot of Dwarves (because I like them) and the heritage feats compete for one slot, one or both of the weapon feats can be rendered unnecessary from class features, "good against a specific enemy" are options I basically never consider, both stonecunning and rock runner are pretty narrow, and then there's the mountain roots/boulder roll combo which you take because why not.
But I understand this is a temporary condition.

They are underpowered and a dumb idea to start with.
All "genetic" feats should be auto at lvl1 and 2 or 3 "cultural" should be also available to pick at lvl1.
IF they want separate "ancestry" "feats by level" then those feats should work on existing racial(ancestry) traits and improving them.
One of the rare feats that I found worthwhile is elven +5 speed.

I'd very much like to just see Ancestry Feats rolled into General feats, period
This of course would require MOST Ancestry Feats (Natural Ambition notwithstanding) to be dramatically buffed or rolled together, so I'm not really confident we will really have TIME to Playtest a new version of Ancestries before they have to start printing books.
Time will tell.

I feel most feats of any kind in the play test are hot garbage.
Both of the "this feat does practically nothing" type (Half time to create a disguise? Really? When is that ever going to be useful?) and "this is really boring" (most of the rest). In Saga Edition a character talent (same idea as a class feat) can instantly give you powerful, frequent, character defining abilities (the second Devastating Attack in example 3 should be Penetrating Attack) just browsing the 20 core talents. In PF2E most of the options are just bad and uninspired or you have to buy the whole tree to get a single piece of fruit.

Well... at least you don't actually have to worry about count up all those +1', Cause they don't even stack, so... yay?
But seriously Ancestries could use some serious work, I've seen some pretty neat stuff on a Goblin Paladin (I agreed "Fist" favored weapon means "unarmed" so applied it to teeth, and they took Rough Rider to gain a more exotic Steed)

That is the least of the problem.
They can change the content up to 1 second before printing the books.

We're currently working on a revision to ancestries that should address a lot of the issues posted in this thread. It will probably take until the final version to add a ton of new feats for each ancestry, but in addition to refining what you get at first level, all ancestries will have more feat options in the final version of the game.

Since the thread is pretty old and I didn't catch the title until now, I'm going to leave as is, but please remember that while calling something "garbage" is currently trendy, it's an insult and something we aren't interested in on our forums. Our community on paizo.com consists of both fans and content creators and posting insults is not conducive to a atmosphere that is safe and encouraging for everyone to participate in.
