So I'm playing a wizard, and we've gotten to level 6, going on 7. I've been purchasing a lot of spells, and we've been getting a good amount through treasure, and two sessions ago my GM pointed out my spellbook would be running out of pages soon. I'm up to something like 77 pages filled of the 100 in my starter spellbook.
I'm looking to get Cypher Script at some point so I can write spells in half the space. Till then though, what kind of options are there for spellbooks?
I know there's the basic 100 page one, and I believe a 50 page portable one. I also think there's a bunch of pre-made ones in the PRD, but I'm mostly aiming for options in making my own. I have a... Peculiar spell list.

There's also the 70-page Compact Spellbook. It's the same weight as the 50-page Traveling Spellbook, and only costs 40gp more.

There is the Blessed Book. Cost 12500 gold pieces:
This well-made tome is always of small size, typically no more than 12 inches tall, 8 inches wide, and 1 inch thick. All such books are durable, waterproof, bound with iron overlaid with silver, and locked.
A wizard can fill the 1,000 pages of a blessed book with spells without paying the material cost. This book is never found as randomly generated treasure with spells already inscribed in it.

I would also recommend the blessed book. It has 10x the pages and 1/3rd the weight. The drawback is the large upfront cost, but that will pay for itself in the long run. Adding a spell amounts to 12.5 gp per page (12500 gp / 1000 pages), which is less than what you'll otherwise be paying for level 2 spells and up.

That part always got me:
This book is never found as randomly generated treasure with spells already inscribed in it.
Why would this be so? You can find a random spellbook with spells in it, and you can find a random blessed book with spells in it, and you can find a blessed book with spells in it so long as it wasn't randomly generated, but . . . ?
