Starfinder Alien Race Suitable for Githyanki / Githzerai Substitute?

I am looking for a race with similar humanoid characteristics and abilities as Gith. It doesn't have to look the same in appearance (as long as it's medium humanoid, two arms, etc.). I just want to use the stats for a race and use the Gith for the fluff. Thanks!

I have Alien Archive but haven't had a chance to do a deep dive yet.

Well that's the trick, isn't it; similar to which version of the gith? Look at the two gith races across multiple editions & they have very different ability score modifiers. Learned that while I was working on putting together a homebrew version of them, myself.

If you are talking about the Zerths, then surprisingly, the Shirrin work as a stat block (if not the bug-person concept.). They are wise and hardy, but a not great with the force of personality. They are super community oriented, but not really beholden to laws (they prefer the chaos of constant choice.). They have some mental powers, and were even mentally enslaved as a race but broke free. As long as you ‘don’t care what they look like’ . . . I think that’s pretty darn close. Reflavor their blindsense as supernatural awareness instead of bug senses and you are good to go.

For some reason the Kish instantly made me think of the Gith in terms of both stats and culture...

I hadn't thought about that. For me, I'm interested in referencing the 3.5 versions.

I will look up both the Kish and the Zerth.
