I'm not confused if we can get this from Paizo or not, from what I understand, Paizo will release the items to be pre-ordered on their website in a few days (on March 20).
I understood the pricing on Paizo will be 59.99 for the CRB, and I have no idea for the module and the flip mat multi-pack.
Amazon just had their pages go up for the Pre-orders. They say that the cost of the playtest CRB will be $44.99 and have discounted it to $33.70 currently. The module they have 20.07 and the map pack at 24.99 on their site.
That $33.70 is EXCESSIVELY TEMPTING. I'm wondering if their pricing is off. I've heard of Amazon accidentally pricing wrong in the past, and then cancelling those pre-orders...even as they raised the price elsewhere and sold it to others for their re-arranged price hosing those who utilized Amazon at first and did not notice the re-written page.
How likely do you think that will happen in this case? I like the lower price, but I don't want to pre-order only to find out AFTER June (when you can't pre-order elsewhere such as at Paizo) that they were wrong and my pre-order is cancelled.
Do think Amazon is a safe pre-order or one should play it safer on this one?
PS: What's really weird is they also have a paperback version on their site for sale at 29.99 in USD.

There is going to be three versions of the Playtest Rulebook. A standard hardcover, a deluxe hardcover and a softcover. So that's probably what you saw for pre-order at Amazon.
My question to Paizo is will we be able to order our book(s) via your website and then pick them up at Gen Con? Or if not, will you have copies at the convention to purchase, even the deluxe version?
I don't want to pre-order from your website only to be able to purchase them at the con and not be able to cancel my pre-order and then have multiple copies. But I also don't want to be in the situation where I didn't preorder and then not able to buy them at the convention, I plan to buy a deluxe and hardcover version. The easiest solution (for me) is hopefully we can preorder on the website and pick up at the con.
What do you suggest?
