Because being a paladin means trying to make people see there's a better way, not run like cowards when people stray, Lady-J

a paladins code says they cant travel with people who break their code on a regular basis and is pretty much the only part of the code i agree with

"Regular Basis" is pretty vague, it's not likely that the party is going to knock over a museum every day let alone twice in a campaign. A paladin making a point of "actions have consequences" is a pretty reasonable way to respond to something like that.

yes but the party breaking laws probably is done on a regular basis and if the paladin is stingy on law breaking as its part of their code from their god to up hold law they should not be adventuring with that party

Lack of resolution to this is eating me up.

Think that means one should try to keep them from doing unlawful or evil things rather than

Throwing ones hands up and running away. A paladin should decide what a regular basis Is, and see if he can stem that tide.

He is a class that promotes law and good. That would be doing his job.

party seems to be content with breaking both of those so as a paladin their only option to stop the "tide" of law breaking and evil acts is to kill the party, arrest the party(some how, he has no proof of their unlawful/evil actions) or walk away

Or.. you know... talk to them.

Also if he has no proof of unlawful or evil actions, why in the HELL is killing them your first option?

knowing they have committed such actions and being able to prove it to other people are two different things
