How long does it take to create a new runic focus for the runesage?

The archetype says:

runesage runif focus wrote:
(...)replacement runic foci can be created using the standard rules for replacing a bonded object for a wizard’s arcane bond. When a runesage creates a new runic focus, she can focus it on a different school of Sin magic than her previous focus as long as the new school is not one that was an oppositional school from her previous focus.

The wizard arcane bound class feature says

wizard arcane bound class feature wrote:
(...)if the object of an arcane bond is lost or destroyed, it can be replaced after 1 week in a special ritual that costs 200 gp per wizard level plus the cost of the masterwork item. This ritual takes 8 hours to complete. Items replaced in this way do not possess any of the additional enchantments of the previous bonded item. (...)

So do you need a week to replace your runic focus? Or does that part only apply if it gets destroyed? In other words, can you instantly replace your runic focus if you perform the 8 hour ritual and pay the gold price if it hasn't been destroyed?

Additionally, what happens when the runic focus is destroyed? Is the runesage considered to be a universalist without an arcane focus?

Can you say old runic foci to use later?

Bumping, 'cause I'd like to know too.

And while we're asking questions: what's to stop a Runesage from creating a separate Focus for every school, and swap them on a day-by-day basis?

OK, I'll take a shot at answering your questions.

If you have your runic focus and it isn't destroyed, you can create a new one immediately with a special ritual that costs 200 gp per wizard level plus the cost of the masterwork item. This ritual takes 8 hours to complete. Note this is almost straight out of replacing a bonded object rules. Except those rules only mention replacing a lost or destroyed one. So, if you have it available and whole, you use the old one in the ritual and it can be done right away. Otherwise, it takes a week to prepare the new item and then you can do the ritual.

Without your focus, just like any wizard without his bonded object, you must make a caster level check to cast any spell. And you still have the restriction of not preparing spells of your previous Focus's opposition schools. Also, you must provide material components for spells from the aligned school until you replace the focus.

Can you save old runic foci to use later? Yes

what's to stop a Runesage from creating a separate Focus for every school, and swap them on a day-by-day basis?
Gold and time spent each time you change foci. Otherwise, nothing. And while the time spent stays the same, the gold cost goes up each level.

Further, do runesages gain the level dependent abilities of universalist school? Raw seems to indicate not, as the school power is replaced by their runic focus traits
