Flying in Hallowed area

If you fly up in the area where a Hallow spell is cast, are you no longer protected?

In the absence of an official ruling, I'd probably give it a protected height equal to the radius. So, from the point where the spell effect emanates, according to the Hallow spell description, it covers a 40' radius. So, 40' in all directions from the point of origin.

Which would also mean 40' up in the air, and 40' down into the earth.
