I'm trying to find a good Medium-sized bear mini that doesn't require painting, where would be the best place to find such a thing? It'd need to be at the Pathfinder scale, so it couldn't be one of those cheapo toy bears from a bag of animals, unfortunately.

The Celestial Black Bear should be perfect. ^_^
If you want something a little bigger (but still Medium), there's also the Cave Bear - it's out of stock on this site, but I'm sure you could track one down elsewhere.

Have you looked at actual toy stores. Miniature animal figurines are pretty common.

I haven't gone into a toy store in... over a decade.
The concerns are
1. Scale
and
2. Having a base for the miniature.
I'll take a look again at T+t, but I didn't see what I was looking for there on my first 'go'.
If you go to a toy store, judge the scale by rule of thumb: your medium human sized figures are probably just above the height of the first joint of your thumb.
Bases are easy to add: get some large washers at your hardware store, and some superglue. Black paint on the washers does just fine, and doesn't require any special painting skills. elmers glue and flocking adds a nice touch, but isn't essential.
An unpainted bear figure really isn't that difficult to paint, espeically if you start out spraying the figure with dark brown spraypaint instead of primer. I got some great bears from Foundry.
But I'll second the toystore option. I just bet they have some in the right size, and they're probably cheaper.
