Spymaster's Handbook Story feats

Pathfinder Society

Hey,

I was playing around on HeroLab and I was stunned to see that there were some story feats listed as legal. I didn't believe it, so I went to check additional resources. Sure enough, under Spymaster's Handbook it says "All feats are legal." I am very confused as to how these can actually be legal, primarily in how a GM would have to adjucate over the completion of these feats. I did some searching and anything I could find in reference to story feats specifically focused on the Ultimate Campaign feats.

So are they really legal? How does the GM of a table deal with them? What's the buzz, tell me what's happening.

I believe there is a ruling that all Story feats aren't legal for PFS regardless of source so that they don't have to call them out for every source but my google-fu is failing me so I could be mistaken.

I believe role playing requirements are hand waved, so if they opened those up they opened them up.

Dig dig dig...

found, something saying story feats are a bad idea for organized play but not a ban.

RP requirements for prestige classes are waived, but not for feats.
