Question about scribing scrolls and casting from them.

Liberty's Edge

I have a second level wizard, and for that level I took two second level spells create pit and Darkvision for my free spells. Can I scribe them using scribe scroll feat and cast them from the scoll making a caster level check of 3?

to start with, at lvl2, you don't yet have access to 2nd lvl spells... period.
Otherwise, you don't have to make a caster lvl roll to scribe a scroll of a spell you can normally cast, and you can't scribe a spell you can't cast yet, period.

Scrolls have a minimum caster level of the lowest level to be cast. You don't meet that caster level, and you don't have 2nd level spells to scribe.

You have no slots to cast 2nd level spells at Wizard 2.

You can learn and enter into your spellbook 2nd or higher spells if you make the spellcraft check.

You can scribe spells you cannot cast. Most common would be scribing a spell for the cleric who does not have Scribe Scroll. Again, governed by the spellcraft check.

You can scribe a spell you cannot cast yet. Same thing, just need someone else who can supply the spell.

As scrolls do not have a CL prerequisite, not having the CL doesn't matter.
