Animal Companion Mount Build

Advice

So long story short I am working on making an animal companion focused build and here is my core thoughts so far. Note this is for PFS and currently has two class levels already.

My current idea was to do 1 level of Goliath druid and get a Gigantosaur from Bestiary 6 as my AC as well as being able to cast enlarge on my AC and access to many good AC buff spells. Then to go a few levels of Barbarian and get the Rage powers that let your AC/Mount rage when you do stacking further with the amplified rage feat and the ring that lets you share 1 teamwork feat. This is where i start to get a little confused on the current rules mostly due to not knowing which faqs and what pfs rules might exist that i don't know about. So as I understand it the Giga is a biped and thus only has a neck and armor and to take any other slots he would have to take extra slot feat. But to take that he would need at least 3 Int and because he doesnt have a headband slot and an animal companion needs at least a 3 int to use Ioun stones there is no way to increase his Int ever?

Second would levels of Mounted fury barbarian stack with levels of druid?
Personally i believe they would as the CRB says

CRB wrote:
If a character receives an animal companion from more than one source, her effective druid levels stack for the purposes of determining the statistics and abilities of the companion.

If I remember there is the weird tiger samurai edge case but I dont believe that applies as that is two classes that are specifically not doing druid stuff. I dont see anything that contadicts the statement in the CRB that allows classes that say "treat as effective druid level -X" and actual druid levels from stacking fully.

Now with that wall of text out of the way what abilities/feats/ or even classes would you guys recommend?

Animal Companions get assignable stat increases at levels 4 and 9, so that's how you get access to Int 3.
The issue with Mounted Fury levels stacking is whether a GM believes that a Gigantosaurus is a 'suitable animal to be a mount'. personally I would have thought only quadrupeds naturally come under that description. So I would expect table variation.

Since it's for PFS the mounted fury only gets a restricted list (A Medium barbarian can select a camel or a horse. A Small barbarian can select a pony or a wolf, but can also select a boar or a dog if she is at least 8th level) thus this would not stack for your levels of druid unless the druid is using one of the listed animals.

If you want to stick with barbarian the Mad Dog archetype has access to the full druid list, but you progress a lot slower on ragepowers.

You do not need int 3 to take the Extra Item Feat because it's a legal option for animal companions due to it being an animal feat.

Gigantosaurus is basically a giant T-Rex, and anyone that says a T-Rex wouldn't make a suitable mount is objectively wrong. =P

Optimus Prime proved that riding a T-Rex is indisputably badass.

Can anyone link me the faq that covers the list issue? The only one I've seen around is the one that says Cavaliers must select a mount that is suitable.

No FAQ is needed, the mounted fury rules are specific about what choices there are for mounts.

"This companion must be one that she is capable of riding and is suitable as a mount. A Medium barbarian can select a camel or a horse."

I read this as "your companion must be suitable for being a mount" and then "you gain an animal companion, you may choose a camel or horse"

My understanding of that sentance means that it would depend on what happens when you have two animal companion lists.

Advance Player's Guide FAQ:

"Cavalier: Do animal companion levels from the druid class stack with cavalier mount levels?
If the animal is on the cavalier mount list and on the list of animal companions for your other class, your cavalier and druid levels stack to determine the animal's abilities. If the animal is not on the cavalier mount list, the druid levels do not stack and you must have different animals (one an animal companion, one a cavalier mount).
For example, if you are Medium druid and you choose a horse companion, levels in cavalier stack to determine the horse's abilities. If you are a Medium druid and you choose a bird companion, levels in cavalier do not stack to determine the bird's abilities, and you must choose a second creature to be your mount (or abandon the bird and select an animal companion you can use as a mount).
This same answer applies to multiclassed cavalier/rangers.
(Note that the design team discourages players from having more than one companion creature at a time, as those creatures tend to be much weaker than a single creature affected by these stacking rules, and add to the bookkeeping for playing that character.)

Same principle should apply here.

Official Rulings aside, a GM can still allow this concept. I had a similar idea for this myself with a Tyrannosaurus Rex, justifying my exotic mount with some levels in Beast Rider Cavalier.

Some suggestions:

-Beast Rider feat grants; elephant, pteranodon, rhinoceros, stegosaurus, or triceratops. (GM may allow additional animals)
-Beast Rider archetype, as stated above, grants Tyrannosaurus so the new Giganotosaurus could easily be included. Additionally, Mounts gain Endurance as a bonus feat, Combat Trained and "Anytime a feat or ability allows a mount to make a hoof attack, it can make a claw, slam, or other analogous attack instead."
-Feats: Trample, Improved Overrun, Evolved Companion, Totem Beast, Mounted Combat (ton of those), Dirty Fighting(for mount)
-Rage Powers: Ferocious Mount, Greater Ferocious Mount, Overbearing Advance, Overbearing Onslaught.
